Rooms are a good size but the notice in the room about no visitors after 10pm and the saying the coffee is free for the first day but will be charged for top ups if required. When we checked in the asked for a security deposit on credit card. The person swiped the card and the wrote the number down and the security pin i questioned why wrote the details down no answer very un trustworthy

Solid place to stay with a curveball or two. Located on the west end of what must surly be called "motel row" as there are least 40 motels options side by side from here to the Pak 'n Save. Stayed in room #3, which was a middle unit, all units are ground level. 3 nights in late-November 2025. Negatives: $100 deposit required at check-in & they actually charge it, not just put a hold for it. Nobody else does this. It was refunded after checkout, but why bother to begin with? Very specific rations of coffee x4, tea, hot chocolate x4, & cookies x2 (in a pack) per day. And clearly think that they will get more money (see photo #4). No USB ports. Positives: Easy check-in. Room was quiet, clean, & comfortable. Water was instant hot. Mostly full kitchen with: microwave, refrigerator, 2 place cooktop, kettle, toaster, glasses, plates, & silverware. Provided Coffee & Tea (Ceylon), hot cocoa & choc chip cookies. Silverware/ceramics were clean. The overall room size was quite roomy. Largest Bathroom shower ever, 3 people could use it at once. Hand-held shower head option. Shampoo & Conditioner. Wi-Fi worked well. Easy check-out, just leave the key card in the room. Final thoughts: I liked this place as everything was in order to be a five star... But, unnecessary deposit & expecting of added income from some unicorn that would pay extra for tiny packets of stuff, is quite silly. But, then again maybe they are raking it in, on all those $2 sachets of salt & pepper.

Room was clean and good sized. They took a deposit but I had never stayed there before and given it's proximity to the stadium they probably have some rowdy guests so the policy is understandable. Nice bathroom. I wanted a budget room and got it. I would stay there again. Five stars because anything less is considered derogatory.

The room was clean but the quality of sheets were terrible and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. You could feel and hear the springs which is just not what you want when you want a decent sleep. Very thin walls and can hear every door being closed by neighboring guests... the heatpump remote was buggered too. Not to mention the deposit... id expect 200 from a higher end place but.... not here... and doesn't state on booking websites either so could really catch you off guard if you dont just have 200 laying around. I would not book here again unfortunately. The spa was nice though!

Rooms are of decent size, depending on amount of occupants. Service is daily, not quite sure how often during the day, depending on needs I assume. Lodge is off a very busy main road, quite noisy within the premises amongst other occupants. Would not recommend a full time vacancy here unless necessary.

It's alot better than the place next door still a little noisy but Kids will be kids no complaints . It would be nice if I had an oven to do a roast. Or a bigger room got to love the air con

Overall great stay! Pros: Nice spa bath, handy kitchenette, allocated parking spot, strong shower pressure, good air con / heat pump, good location, close to shops; great, friendly service. :-) Cons: Thin walls. Seems like some of the other tenants were Winz emergency housing and their kids hovered around our car (and leaned on it at one point) which was a bit weird. Uncomfortable bed. Overall, we had a nice stay. Thank you ☺

From the moment I arrived I was greeted with a friendly lady. The room was perfect. Clean, well presented and comfortable. Internet quality was good. Enough to YouTube without too much interference. Room service was also amazing. Once I had returned from my business for the day, was clean and tidy. The staff were very very helpful where I noticed them assisting a few people and ensuring their comfort. Overall highly recommend this place.
