WARNING: Bed bugs Stayed 2 nights in Room 36 and got bed bug bites all over my body. This is not acceptable. Tried calling to complain but no one picked up the phone. Very poor hygiene and customer service. I would not stay here again.
We came for a concert and had to wait another hour and a half past check in time for our room to be done. The beds looked like bananas, the toilet seat was not attached. Some of the dishes were dirty and the place was so run down some of us slept in our clothes on the bed, Two of the chairs were broken at the table. They also charged $800 for the room which if it had of been good would have been ok as it was in high demand. But man was it horrible and so rundown. Even the bacon moves when your going up the stairs.
Friendly welcoming staff, very clean & tidy & excellent value for money. I will definitely be staying again.
Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Auckland Hospital. The staff were excellent and attentive to our needs. Made sure they served us with upmost respect and care. Thank u to the staff for making us feel calm and settled when we were in Auckland for a sad circumstances.
Thank you for a great stay! Bed was comfortable and facilities worked well for us in our kitchenette unit. Perhaps a couple more power points would be useful for multiple devices Great central location-easy access to trains, buses and shopping
Rooms exceeded our expectations nice and modern and good size for what we wanted. Good location to get to spark arena and right near the mall. Staff were ok
We arrived 2 hours after check-in, and one of our rooms had not been serviced. We had to wait for the cleaners to clean it. The receptionist and manager ignored our complaint and acted like they did not understand. I did not like the room, it felt grungy. I never took any photos.
Brilliant location, getting to the sites I had to visit with work and after work was very easy. The lady at reception was friendly and efficient. She demonstrated how to use the after-hours code and kept information nice and simple. The room was an interesting combination of a fantastic bed with very nice, tasteful bedding, with other furnishings being a little dated. The bathroom was spotless and reasonably modern. There was plenty of bench space in the room and I appreciated the extra mirror outside of the bathroom. The air conditioning was quick to adjust the room temperature and it was nice to have a little balcony. Overall I was surprised at how quiet it was given the proximity to busier roads. I slept extremely well, which also surprised me as I don't typically sleep well even at home. I didn't eat on-site so can't comment on the quality of the food but I would stay here again.
Checked in some guests from overseas. Reception staff were happy and helpful. Room was clean, fairly modern, and spacious. Not sure about cost but guests are happy thus far.
Walking distance to Newmarket Westfield, bus & train. The room was clean, bed linen, white high grade sheets, fluffy white towels. Older lodge but excellent value for 3 nights for 2 adults. Evening restaurant: Chicken Fettuccine & Spaghetti Bolognaise very good. Staff are very helpful, we had a bit of difficult understanding their Asian/English accent but on the whole it was a great stay, we would stay there again.
