Amazing place! Really felt like home rather then a motel.the location only gets 4 stars because it is on a very busy road and you can only exit by turning left out of the driveway. Would be more convenient to go straight or have a right turn too. But overall the motel itself and the staff are just truly amazing! Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here for a couple of weeks while relocating to Auckland. Excellent rooms, friendly team members and highly recommend this place so much that my son recently stayed there as well.
Nice rooms, only thing that let it down is the cleaning! I dropped something on the floor which went under the end of the bed which was when I noticed all the junk under it including used razors, lollies, chips and face mask packets. This made me check the other bed which was the same, as was behind the couch. Could also see the shower walls have not been scrubbed. The couple who own the place are very lovely and the rooms are back off the road with ample parking. Decent size milks are provided and showers work fantastic. Overall this place was good.
Lady at counter has no English, gent does but a little difficult to understand. Very friendly though... Rooms need bringing up to date, well worn. Served our purpose but probably wouldn't return to stay again.
I initially only booked for one night. But then I decided to stay another night. The host was so nice and welcoming. The room was super comfy and the bed was even more comfortable! The host offered me a discount for the 2nd day which was amazing! Overall one of the best lodges I've ever stayed at! Highly recommended!
A nice quiet place to stay very clean and the staff cleaned every day and replaced all towels and refreshments, a little dated but priced accordingly. Will definitely stay again next time I am in Auckland

I have been shoo'ed into my room with my 2 year old son on three seperate occasions twice by the wife of the owner i assume and once by him himself today was the last straw as i found a lizard in my room and seen the perfect opportunity to teach my son catch and release as i was doing this he was full of excitment as i was suddenly shoo'ed into my room by the asian owner i tried to take my son to our room then i decided i needed to ask him for an apology for disrespecting me and my son he at first agreed and refused to say the words i apologise. His wife who is par of the reason i felt the need to complain jumped in the middle of our argument between me and the owner i was then repeatedly called a crazy girl. Beware non english disrespectful to children plenty of other places to stay.
I stayed here when I needed emergency housing, the place here is clean and the staff there were awesome. They all have a place in my heart and I am grateful for the special treatment during my staff. Lobed the cleaners and the manager lopa, I hope you all are well!
