60s furniture. Decor terrible. Chairs not secure. Amateurish internally painted. Grounds needed work. Wouldn't come back
Nice place.bedroom is super comfy with heated blankets. Spacious kitchen and bathroom.gonna visit again.the owner is so friendly.
One of the worst experiences for the price. Paid nearly $400 for a twin room (this price was hiked up from the normal $110/night, but these greedy hoteliers took advantage of an AllBlack game with little accommodation available on Saturday. The place was freezing. 2 extra blankets were provided on request for 2 beds being slept in. Friend had to cover towels over his bed to stay warm! Dirty rotten shower, carpet old and grubby. Can’t believe it and I’m shamed that this type of establishment is allowed to operate in NZ. Shame on you Cedar Lodge. Prospective stayer beware!
The new owner Jason could not have been more helpful. The unit is very clean. The beds are good, kitchen is fully equipped with free standing oven, Microwave, all the necessary items to cook or make tea and toast. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Free WiFi, new TV. Unfortunately no aircon in the unit but that is coming. Fantastic price for single,couple or family. Recommend you give them a go. Our rating is 3.5. I'm sure the ratings will go through the roof when all the renovations are complete.
This motel has recently undergone a change in ownership, and the new owner has completed renovations both inside and out, resulting in significant improvements compared to previous reviews. The manager was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The current Booking.com rating exceeds 8, which I believe accurately reflects its current condition. The bed was incredibly comfortable, featuring a latex pillow, and the room was clean. While the water pressure was slightly low, it was still adequate for a shower. Overall, the motel offers a reasonable price and serves as a perfect place to rest, whether you're traveling with family or on a business trip.
Overpriced. Website shows nice rooms but reality is very average, cheap feeling rooms. Police arrive most nights, kept awake with arguing neighbours, noise control is not good. Cleaners have no respect for privacy, barging in without knocking, and to empty bins only.. very disappointed.
One Bedroom apartment are not well set out as pictures perceive them to be. Cleaner can't clean let alone make a bed and reception is rude when I needed to get ahold of occupant in unit 1. They don't have phone in room but have phone jacks for them.
They do not clean the ovens in between people staying. They do not clean walls etc or maintain their security as far as windows etc. Broken window latches were not fixed for me. But all up it was an ok stay. There is no washing machine there now. Not helpful for emergency housing.
It has everything you need in the kitchen. Ok two bedrooms unit. Annoying workers.. the girl with short hair that do house keeping on sat-sun is very good doing her job..
While this motel is dated. It is clean and moderately priced. The beds are comfortable and they provided a portable cot for my baby which was very handy. Also 5 star rating from me as I left my engagement and wedding ring on top of the bed head and they rang me within half an hour after we had checked out. Many thanks for great service.
