   Lovely stay here, comfy & clean rooms, kitchen has everything you would need, peaceful & relaxing area, owners & staff very helpful & informative. Only downside was the steep road it sits on, would still recommend.

   Country style build with history. This heritage house has a very nice lounge and dining areas, the rest of the place needs updating. The staff are great and very accomodating, helpful. There's just too much old stuff outside of the house by the laundry area. Could use some updating and cleaning. Very very good location, convenient as grocery stores, restaurants, even some market (french market) down the road.

   We booked a private double room for a week and really appreciated the space! Very clean and comfortable bed in a spacious room with table and comfy chairs. It was the perfect room for us to relax and regroup for the week. The view of the sky tower from our window was really nice as well. The building itself is a nice old historical home, could do with some repairs, but definitely a good overall place to stay for a few days at a very reasonable price.

   We had room 11. A private double room that is spacious and the bed and pillows are super comfy! The sheets clean and silky soft. Was sad to see there is no window in this room. Just a double door opening out to an enclosed balcony that also was accessable to like 3/4 other rooms so not feeling safe to leave the door open. The place is in a quiet area and most of the time quiet, although you can't foresee who else will be at the hostel at the time. We had some loud and noisy neighbors - come on guys, people sleep, or have jet lag! Otherwise everything else is great here. You got everything you need; laundry, 20 mins walk to town, nice outside area. Would stay again :)

   Really interested building which has had some pretty important guests over the years including the Queen of Tonga and also the Queen of England. Lovely feel to the place. Very quiet and peaceful. The rooms were a decent size. The kitchen was clean and spacious and the living room area was really well set out and comfy. The hostel is just a couple of minutes walk from Parnell high street which means that you have shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Would certainly stay here again.

   This place is cheap and has a great location. You can easily take the bus down town and be there within 15 minutes. The place is also pretty old. Some windows couldn't close and the rooms didn't look super nice. That's not a big problem, tbh. The problem is, is that the office was closed half an hour before it should be closed. The shower stalls were dusty on the outside and had several empty shampoo bottles on top. There are only two toilets, that you had to share with an entire floor. It's cheap, but it will do, if you're not too picky.
