** DO NOT STAY HERE** SHOCKINGLY BAD SEEVICE and ANT PROBLEM. -No kitchen sink in the room, no where apart from bathroom to fill the jug. -ANT issues. -Service was shocking, David Wong was rude and confrontational. - David Wong the owner walked back and forth past the rear sliding door of the room peering in while we were there, invasion of privacy. -The room was booked months in advance and 'normal rates' were charged at the time of booking however after he found out that some major concerts were on this week, as well as another huge international event, with other people were willing to pay more, David wanted room changes and then wanted us gone resulting in us having to find a new room in a full Auckland city with inflated prices. The room had been rebooked within an hour after we had left. - Room was not the one pictured when booked and was more basic. It is handy to other service stations, local resteraunts and major mall but it is also under an airport flight path. Others in the Motel were also having issues with David, one of the owners. Davids Husband/Partner he was pleasant himself. NOTE: I notice the owner/s in this review section blame either systems and/or the guests themselves for the issues. The constant in all complaints is the Rudeness of David Wong and our experience mirrors many bad reviews including him banging on the door in the morning unwilling to have a polite and decent conversation. He IS EXTREMELY rude and confrontational and he escalates situations extremely quickly refusing to listen. I am a Level 7 Google Host and have stayed in hundreds of hotels/motels with all star ratings. David is among the Top 3 rudest owners I have come across in all my years of staying at hotels. I have never had a room change after months of prier booking except when an upgrade is offered. And NEVER been forced to leave (again I believe he had better financial offers come in due to several concerts on in the city at that time).

Decor a bit outdated. Beds 3 out of 5 for sleep. Shower was amazing! Great water pressure and sooo big! Also the grounds have amazing plant life .

Bit dodgy - Paid for a twin room and when I got their discovered it was another $25. Room was ok pretty rundown. But it's Auckland so pretty standard lol.

This is a unforgettable motel for me, and it is my first stop of my honeymoon at newzealand. Owner help us to solve the parking issue, he is busy but call his son to help me know how to parking at in downtown, also we have clean and Spacious room, it is a wonderful memory for me and my wife.

I stay here often for business. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Handy to Manukau. The rate is very reasonable for the location. Handy to the airport so I don't see why anyone would complain about the planes, which aren't particularly disturbing

I echo many of the other poor reviews on here. I note that each response to a bad review is met with a response that blames a debit card issue or says the customer is lying. I can assure any potential customers here that the issue is the motel. The managers are terribly rude and should not be in any form of customer service. I'm not sure which one is Michael and which is david, but the Asian guy was rude beyond belief, with his partner often having intervene. We were told when we arrived that they had double booked us so we were moved to a family room (the tone implying this was our fault) and they might have to move us the following day. We never heard anything else from them until the Asian guy came to the room the next day and yelled at my mum for not having our stuff packed and ready to move. Completely unacceptable given this was an issue on THEIR end. The rooms are very average and as others have said, signs up with poorly worded messages about costs incurred for damage of ridiculous items such as cups. Absolutely under no circumstances would I stay here again.

Service very old school almost to the point of being rude until I suppose trust is built with staff after that seemed fine unless I looked dogey or something room was nice and clean only down side would be traffic noise beside that close to Bk and Indian take away only spent 12 hours here so review reflexs what I experience at the time

I was only in Auckland for a night but I had a pleasant stay here. The room was clean and adequate but the most memorable thing about this place was how accomodating the hosts were. I had specific requests and they were happy to accomodate me and my friends, to which I'm very appreciative of.

We stayed a week in one of the newly renovated rooms. King bed with kitchenette and ensuite. Very clean, tidy and well equipped. Each morning we were delighted to be able to go through the sliding door to sit in the beautiful, peaceful garden. The motel location itself was excellent with a variety of shops within walking distance. Our hosts Michael and David were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
