   The hosts were lovely, very accommodating. I was even offered a ride back to the hospital several nights in a row. The room I had was very comfortable. The bed was great had a choice of soft or hard for a pillow. It was a quiet unit, very clean and had fantastic water pressure. Location for me was awesome as it was close to the hospital.

   - From someone living here as emergence housing for about 2ish months - Ehh, its alright for the most part. The rooms are big enough for 2 people but look a little 'dated'. The heater was broken (kinda bad as its going into winter but was given a replacement). The owner is good, we haven't interacted a whole lot but when we do there are no problems. They have people who clean the room which is awesome. Internet is fine when its working but likes to crash a whole lot!! Close walk to the park and shops aren't too far either. Enough parking, it doesn't usually get filled. This is a pretty average motel, nothing fancy, nothing I hate either.

   The room is very smelly and dark. Very old motel and dirty carpet. Found hairs on sofa and bed. The korean owner was so rude when my husband asked him to change a clean towel . Never book again. Even one star is too much for this motel.

   Totally terrible experience I wouldn’t recommend this motel to anyone. Arrived late first thing I noticed the place was empty. All the motels along the back were empty 3 cars in total in the large car park. For a Friday night in Christchurch, especially as it was a busy holiday week. First impressions the unit smelt musty. The unit was not clean behind the bed side units there were left belongings (glasses and used papers) with Inch of dust. The bed only had two very flat pillars . That also smelt old. There were no more pillars to be found. The bathroom vanity was stained. After a restless sleep . At 10 am was just finishing the shower and dressing . Thinking i will have 15 min before they phone to remind of check out. No exactly 10.10 I received a loud bang on the door. Could see the statue of a male with all his cleaning gear. I replied nearly there will be done in 15 min. Apologies. As there were obviously no other units to be cleaned along our area, he was keen. Just on 10.20 I opened the door to pack the car, he knocked again. I was in my car driving out at 10.28. I will not return or recommend this motel .

   Wonderful tidy &clean accommodation, have been here for 5weeks and have nothing but good things to say. The owner Steve is an awesome, kind, caring &professional person, who only has his customers best interests at heart. I have 3 very young &loud boys and Steve went out of his way to make sure we were all looked after and comfortable at his motel, as well as actually talking and playing with them most days. They even have a special joke between them. My boys have grown very fond of Steve referring to him as 'boss steeeeve'. Very lovely place and highly recommend!!!

   Stayed here for $100 including GST NZD on a Tuesday night. The rooms are well maintained and I’m super happy it had a pleasent room smell rather than the weird smells you can find in some motels. The location is really great! As a local I can guarantee that this is a perfect spot for reaching just about anything. It is close to Riccarton mall (our biggest mall) and around the Riccarton area there is the biggest variety of all types of food. The motel itself is walking distance to the Mobil, being super handy. The guy at the reception was nice too. They have three sky channels, one movie and two sports. I normally plug my HDMI into the TV with my own movies anyway so this didn’t bother me too much. I did find that the blinds made the room quite cold so possibly a change to curtains would be recommended. As it also doesn’t stop the light very well. The bed was comfy! I personally love a nice soft bed when I stay away from home so it was cool. I would recommend more pillows though. Overall I give it a 3.5 stars out of 5. Nice small room in a handy location with a good price. I stayed here again a second time and had a completely different experience... the bed was the most horrible uncomfy bed, the bathroom door didn’t shut and we got two small creamers. It was not pleasant the second time around!
