“Spent a week here and it was such a great experience! The staff are so kind and the quality of the service and the rooms was far beyond what we had expected for the price. New favourite place to stay in the city, this place really sets the standard.”

“We booked a two bedroom suite for 4 adults and we were each very happy with our overall stay and the affordability. Despite some issues I had with booking.com itself the staff here were wonderful! I would have given 5 stars for service however we had trouble calling through a few times for the concierge, thankfully once we arrived the receptionist was very accomodating and efficient. Comfortable beds, amazing view off the balcony, clean room and half of us went and enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Thank you all - we will be staying again in future ☺️”

“We were initially worried with the low ratings we saw, but we still booked it anyway because it is at the location we need. Turn out the rooms were beautiful, large clean and convenient. One has the ocean view. Superb location, close to all the nice eating places. And staffs have been very supportive, they even upgraded our room for free!”

“The cleanliness of the rooms could definitely be improved, but this place is overall insane value. The bed was comfortable and warm, the private bathroom was everything you need, and while the tv was pretty old it has sky sport and sky movies and everything. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was very good. Some people seem to be complaining about cleanliness or dated rooms but for the insanely low price it just doesn't make sense to hold it against them.”

“This is a delightful home for your cat's long or short term stay. Ellis and Paul obviously love cats and take great care with nutrition and well-being. The rooms are light and airy and spotlessly clean. The surroundings are calm and restful. My cat stayed for 3 months October 2019 when I moved home. She is a loner, used to hunting on a farm all her life, but she was so relaxed and cuddly when I took her home, I knew she had enjoyed her time with Ellis and Paul. Thank you to the Cat Hotel Stoney Creek for your thoughtful care of Jessie. You are Jessie's hotel of choice !!”

“I can't recommend Purrville highly enough. My cat Marmite has been a guest several times and we have had positive experiences each time. The staff are friendly, reliable and reassuring. Purrville is clean and has lots of toys and walkways that keep the cats entertained. The staff always look after my anti-social kitty and are experts at providing the balance between space and attention that she needs. We will be back!”

“We celebrated a weekend of our honeymoon at the Boatshed Hotel and we fell in love. Jonathon and his team made us feel like we were the only guests at the hotel. From picking us up at the ferry, giving us charcuterie and wine upon welcoming us into the lobby, and spending every meal overlooking the ocean. We will be back and cannot talk higher about our experience at the Boatshed it was heaven on earth.”

“Highly recommend staying at Sojourn Apartment Hotel Riddiford. We were very impressed with the amenities, location, cleanliness and friendliness of all the staff that we dealt with during our stay. We stayed in the Petite Double internal room, and this particular Petite Double has a table and chairs set which was great for getting some remote work done on the trip. The room was very well equipped with everything we needed and the Nespresso machine was definitely one of my favourite features. The internal room was very quiet, and the location was perfect, right opposite Wellington Hospital, with a bus stop right outside making for easy access around the city. We would definitely love to stay again.”

“Great spot. Rooms are dark and cozy. Comfy beds. Great in-room amenities incl free drinks and snacks. Ice machine and laundry facilities available for guests on level 3. Friendly service. Location is handy to vibrant Cuba Street with plenty of eateries near the hotel.”

“Our room was very fresh and clean. The location is great! Easy walk to the waterfront, TePapa Museum, Red Cable Car, botanical gardens and lots of restaurants, bars, eateries and coffee shops. It was a perfect location for our 2 nights in Wellington. The front office staff were also friendly and helpful. They ordered a car service to help us get to the ferry on our departing morning.”

“Stunning hotel, that sits beside the lake for those that like going for walks or runs in nature, this is for you. They do have a gym and spa on-site though for those that don't want to leave the hotel. I have stayed here 3 times over the year and each room I have gotten, have always been very clean and have been stocked with everything I could of needed. The staff here from reception to the restaurant as well as the housekeepers are so Incredibly lovely. I highly recommend this place!”

“I have used many catteries over the years (30) ,but Brenda's Hotel Kitty truly stands out.The quality of service here is exceptional _ Brenda goes the extra mile to ensure every cat is cared for with kindness and professionalism....That care also extends to the cat owner!! The rural setting is tranquil and relaxing ,it's clear Brenda is clearly genuinely passionate about what she does. My normally timid cat is always happy and relaxed after her stay and I am treated to photographs which show me my cat is enjoying her stay and is very settled .This establishment gives the owner peace of mind knowing. top notch level of care is provided.Brenda is a true cat person and outstanding business proprietor. I never worry now when I have to leave my cay . I highly recommend.”

“Not our first time and worth every minute of it, apart from the first little bit when we had a bit of a long wait to get seated. The atmosphere is amazing with eclectic decor and the team that served and cooked were brilliant. The meals were worth paying a little more than we usually do for with tender rump loin and then bread pudding capping the session off. Thanks for another worthwhile experience.”

“Worked a Corporate Challenge in Christchurch this week. Commodore Hotel was exceptionally localed for both the event and airport. It has the most luxurious bed. It was like sleeping on clouds. The kitchen was open for a late night dinner, which was very much appreciated with finishing so late. The breakfast this morning was delicious. Offering both a Continental Breakfast and brilliant A La Carte. I opted for the Continental which was perfectly satisfying.”
