   I was booked into stay here due to Qantas using a 28 year old plane and something going wrong with the flaps. We were diverted to Christchurch. At first I was quite pleased with the hotel. Until I found no refreshments at all in the room. At 2am in the morning, no drink or snack machine available either. The breakfast was good and the staff who were serving and waiting were excellent. The really disturbing part was being mocked by two of the counter staff after I’d complained about being told I had to leave the room at 12 midday, despite only being in the room from 2am that morning. You’d have to wonder whether Qantas customers are getting value for money here? They hid their heads behind their computer screens and were tittering away about me and also my attire. Seeing as Christchurch is a centre of world fashion I was hurt by their assessment of my shoes which I heard them remark on. The funniest thing was the fact they thought they were out of earshot. Very disappointing behaviour. Sharpen up guys.

   Hello We attended for a work Christmas function. given the private room, and wow we were not disappointed. Toby our main waiter was amazing and the other staff too, directed our meal to each individual too as it came out. The menu was extensive and very accommodating with our people with allergies. Loved it. We will now be back.

   Best hotel close to the airport. The most comfortable beds, quiet and great food options. Family friendly but also has a business end if you prefer the quiet. I was fortunate enough to be upgraded on my latest stay and it was a really beautiful experience!

   It’s the best location for me catch up the early flight next morning. Nice room and quality service. To my surprise, there are racket provided for tennis fun. There are also many services, including sauna and golf. I really appreciate front counters fast responds and helping hand in the first place. They are the best in Christchurch! Cheers! Highly recommend!

   Worked a Corporate Challenge in Christchurch this week. Commodore Hotel was exceptionally localed for both the event and airport. It has the most luxurious bed. It was like sleeping on clouds. The kitchen was open for a late night dinner, which was very much appreciated with finishing so late. The breakfast this morning was delicious. Offering both a Continental Breakfast and brilliant A La Carte. I opted for the Continental which was perfectly satisfying.

   The staff at the Commodore are lovely and accommodating. I was attending a conference and I had to lug my carry bag around, they were nice enough to let me put my carry bag behind the counter even though I wasn't staying with them. Super friendly and lovely people. My uber driver also told me they are a family owned company which is awesome too.

   Promised 4 EV charging bays. None work in fact there were 4 and 2 have pulled out. Of the 2 that are remaining (and if they did work) only 1 can be switched on at a time. Get your act together Commodore. Up the ante and get 10 charging bays. Customers are happy to pay.

   Fantastic staff , all of them . Very helpful and caring in manor . Beds were so comfortable & we had a lovely view of the garden , even saw native birds . Dine in service was good & recommend the chicken burger for dinner off the dine in menu . Room had a shower/ bath - perfect for kids . Lots of room . Fridge and basic coffee making stuff available. A sink , but wasn't any bowls or extra cuttlery etc . There is a pool / spa ( dont forget your swimmers ) Restaurant etc Good parking .

   The rooms are always clean and inviting. The housekeeping is done well, with the added touches of home comforts if you have forgotten something. The staff are all friendly and no request is too difficult for them to manage within reason. The gym, sauna and swimming pool are great extras to have.

   I stayed here with my daughter for a night and was really impressed. The room was modern with a new spacious bathroom, Nespresso machine and was clean and roomy. The pool area was also clean and great for kids. I was also really impressed by the staff. They were lovely! Really helpful and friendly. Went out of their way to show me my room were really friendly to my daughter etc. I will definitely be back. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.
