It's close to the city, parkimg is limited and will need to pay (just FYI). Beds are good, rooms are outdated however if you need a place to just sleep, then it is a great place to stay. Customer service is amazing.

Stayed at a Millennium property in Queenstown. Very nice room. We couldn't get a Millenium room in Auckland so we settled for Copthorne as it was a sister property. Unfortunately, it is not kept up as well as Millennium property. Shower head was placed low enough for hobbies. The tub was so high it should have had a stepladder to help you in & out. Dust bunnies were on the floor. A razor cover was on the bathroom floor. Cleanliness was not their finest hour. Rug looked like it was placed over 20 years ago. Doors did not have deadlocks or security lock. Basically, we would not choose this hotel again.

Disgusting excuse for a hotel! I paid $400 for a wheelchair accessible room.. The toilet is no where near accessible.. There was no rail near the toilet.. I was unable to go to the toilet the whole day and night I was here and completely not worth the $400 and definitely not suitable for anyone that uses a wheelchair.. Copthornes take on Accessible is completely misleading. Do not waste your money here!

Stayed at the Copthorne last night for the first time. Disappointed with the cleanness of the room. There were ants in the room that were crawling over the floor, walls and onto the bed. Went to make a hot drink but was water in the jug from previous people. No idea how long the water had been there. For the amount we paid we assumed it would be clean and tidy.

Staff were very friendly and the young lady servicing the rooms was absolutely amazing, she was very helpful after i locked myself out and she was the one that handed me fresh towels and extra tea and coffee sachets. Room was ok, a bit lacking with cleaning and furniture was dated Room wasn't serviced and we only got fresh towels late on the Tuesday afternoon. Also you have to pay for parking on the hotel grounds, which we did only to find a rather interesting note under our windscreen wiper to say pay for parking at reception or your vehicle will be towed. We had a parking permit displayed on the dash which had the dates clearly written on

We love staying here whenever we are up in Auckland. All the staff we encounter here are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Love the location, Yes the rooms are getting tired, but generally they are clean, tidy and well presented. Great value for money.

Got a parking notice on our car 2 inches from the parking permit on the windshield, door handle was loose coming off the door almost an inch fortunately i had my Leatherman and tighten the hex screws so the door reader wouldn't lock out my wife and child. Complained that people were smoking on the balcony even though it says you can't i was talk "well we can't control them" well you can you make the rules. The shower handle that switched from bath to shower was lifting the whole fixtures out of the tiled wall. They did offer us to switch to another room so Service gets a 4 but the rooms some love.

I was nervous to stay here with my family after reading some of the reviews however we had a great stay! Yes, the rooms do need an upgrade. Aside from that, we booked 2 rooms & found them both clean, warm & safe. Only a short 5 minute walk to Spark Arena for Disney on Ice! Really friendly staff at reception & bar. Would stay again!

On arrival there wasn't any clearly marked spaces to park while you check in. The elevators are rundown as was the room we stayed in. The cupboard door was loose, the bathroom sink had a pile of what looked like silicone behind it, the tiles were cracked and paint was chipping off around the doorways. We ordered room service, food was delivered with a smile and tasted great. Bed was comfortable & clean. Overall an ok basic stay for those looking for a place in a handy location to CBD and Spark Arena.

Rooms were not as big as shown in the pictures produced online, if you suffer from vertigo. Please do not get a room on the upper levels because the balcony will not help this. Rooms were clean. Not enough cutlery if you wished to dine in your room. Rooms seemed very tired looking, looks like they need a bit of a spruce up. Parking is absolutely obsurd! Having to pay for parking your vehicle at a Hotel your staying at is mind boggling to me. Will NOT be staying Ever again.
