The owner is completely out of touch with his customers, no consideration whatsoever. People were fighting in the hallways and yelling all night, and the owner did nothing. I woke up to a flooded room, my belongings soaked, and I went downstairs to ask for a refund, but received no gesture of goodwill. The owner is a real jerk, the place is filthy, the kitchen is dilapidated, and the smell is nauseating. Honestly, avoid it at all costs; nobody should go there. And despite the terrible state of his awful hotel, the owner refuses to offer any refundsβ€”a disgrace.

Absolutely filthy - old cheese in fridge, lip marks on cups. No toilet roll holder or bedside lights. Lovely hot shower wuth pressure was the onky plus. Kept awake all night by noise behind A block - hammering and crashing and banging. Blinds broken and covered in dust. Floor sticky toi walk on . Lifts dirty and hallways not vacuumed or washed. Tv didnt work. No tteatowel in room or kitchen All you could say was a great location if somewhat sleazy. Would never return

This is the first time I've experienced staying in a hotel with poor facilities and amenities. The bed sheet had stains. It's hot and the electric fan is not working, had tried the small stand heater and it's not working as well. There's no chair or stool and no table where I can do my work on my laptop. No phone line to connect to reception. Talked to other room occupants - still the same situation - no chairs, no tables. So, I checked out after 3 hours of staying because its really hot. Please don’t stay there so you will not get disappointed. Star rating - ZERO

The beds were absolutely disgusting, with no mattress protector, no duvet cover, and sheets were unclean. The mattress was absolutely littered in stains, as was the duvet itself. The dishes were dirty, and there was no dish soap or a teatowel. The wooden floor has clearly never been mopped. Feet were black after walking around in bare feet for 5 mins. There were holes all throughout the walls, and the signage throughout the hotel was mostly hand written and sellotaped to the wall, which looked really crude. Also no evacuation plan or signage in case of emergency, so you're pretty much screwed. Safe to say, I won't stay here again.

Service - Finding reception and getting into the hotel was hard to start, the receptionist took ages to receive our booking and in general was rude and acted like we were an inconvenience, the room was awfully hard to find and we had to go back downstairs and ask The room - clearly hadn't been vacuumed and the windows were super dirty, otherwise was alright. Two stars is deserved.

Cheap place to stay but confusing as hell, no reception after 7pm had to get key from lockbox which wouldn't open, walk through a mall to a airy hall, dried blood on the bed no proper duvet cover utensils were dirty, drawing on the wall no toilet paper or hand soap. Also the key to unlock the door with all the rooms is the same key to unlock our private room?

Central location, handy to buses, nightlife. There was a brochure rack of things to do in the corridor. Receptionist was not helpful, and one could potentially get lost trying to find the way to the room. The room was one of five off a central communal lounge, kitchen, dining area, but I didn’t see any other guests using the area. There was a microwave, toaster, and kettle in this area, with tea and coffee sachets provided in the room. The room had a bed at one end, kitchen bench and fridge on one side and a shower on the opposite side at the other end. Plenty of storage with a dressing table, a tall boy and a bedside unit. There was a TV on the wall, a fan and a heater, which was great as it was cold and raining outside. Sturdy luggage rack/ table but no seat in the room. Extra blankets were not provided. There was no dishwashing liquid even though there was a sign that said do your own dishes. No window in the room, so very dark at night. Towels, shampoo and soap provided. The shower was dirty.

I am very disappointed with the quality and service of my stay at Aura Hotel. Firstly, after checking in at 2:30pm, I went to my room to find that it was still being cleaned. I had to wait outside my room until 3pm which resulted in me being late and having to put my plans on hold. Additionally, I found the cleanliness very unhygienic. It was absolutely disgusting to see the many stains on the mattress as well as a blood stain on the duvet. The mattress also had no mattress protector - we could see the stains through the sheets. From personal experience working in housekeeping, the cleanliness of the room was not up to hygienic standards at all. I am not happy with the amount of money I have paid for this room. After having a good first experience with this hotel, I decided to book again here for this trip, however after this experience I will not be recommending or making future bookings with Aura Hotel.
