“I recently visited Woolworths St James in Rototuna, Hamilton, NZ, during the evening, and I was really impressed with the quality of the chilled and meat sections. I had a specific list of items I was looking for, and I ended up spending quite a bit of time in these areas, and I’m glad I did! The chilled section was exceptionally well-organized and stocked with a wide variety of fresh products. From dairy items like milk, cheese, and yogurt to fresh deli products, everything was easy to find, and the shelves were neatly arranged. I was particularly impressed by how well-maintained the section was, with everything from fresh salads to frozen meals displayed with great care. The staff was visible in this area, arranging items and making sure everything was in its proper place, but what stood out most was how friendly and helpful they were. Even though they were busy restocking and organizing, they still took the time to greet me and offered to assist when I had questions. Moving on to the meat section, I was equally impressed. The variety of cuts and types of meat was excellent, from premium steaks to sausages and fresh poultry. The staff in this section were very knowledgeable and approachable, offering me guidance on some of the best options for the meal I was planning. They were genuinely welcoming and made me feel comfortable asking questions, even as they were actively arranging the fresh meat on the shelves. Overall, my visit to Woolworths St James was a pleasant experience. The friendly staff in both the chilled and meat sections made the evening shopping feel personal and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back for both the quality of products and the excellent customer service.”

“Absolutely Love it they got a Great selection of things at Good prices, really yummy cakes at great prices to. I got really yum cake 1.1 kg for $32 for partners Bday today.. I always like to pop in on my way down home, we only have new world which doesn't always have what I want.! :( . Extra awesome popping in today for Me the checkout lady was someone I went to primary sch& I'd lost her nbr& now I have it again. Thanks Woolworths a A++ for service.”

“This store has a really nice layout and stays reasonably well stocked. Our favorite thing about it, though, is it's fairly quiet and peaceful. A large discount store down the road attracts the big crowds, leaving this one surprisingly empty. It's always pleasant to walk in here and not be mushed in with throngs of people in the vegetable section as other stores funnel everyone in there. In Countdown you can start shopping in whatever isle you want. Refreshing!”

“Great to see that the collectibles are being shared around! Bought a great dinner : olives, gherkins, feta, edam slices, carrots, ravioli, and ginger kisses for desert. Easy nutritious and delicious (sans kisses) 'Number free' options were a bit tricky to find but we found our healthy choices eventually.”

“This one worker her name was Jade, I always see her there and she is the best worker I've ever seen. She once helped me out of a locked changing room, helped a little kid after they tripped, got something for this old lady off a tall shelf, hyped up this girl in some shoes she wanted to buy, and even helped this guy pick out a nice scarf for his wife. Once I accidentally was short five dollars and she payed the rest. This girl is amazing and deserves so much more than she is paid. Praise this woman she is beautiful on the inside aswell as the outside.”

When he realised that what I was looking for is not availablr at that warehouse he gave me some options—places I could go to. Another staff helped me find what I was looking for. “May 2023 Back again fow a few items in between our regular shop. The store very clean and tidy as usual. Jan 2023 A quick visit was carried out today. Shop is still very clean and tidy. Shelves are well stocked and presented. The self service checkouts are very easy to operate and can make shopping less time consuming. Earlier visit Easy store to shop in. Products are well laid out and there is always a store staff member close by who will off assistance if required.”
