Quick stop before heading to Waihi. Itβs smaller than most Woolworths Iβve been to, but it has all the essentials you need. Shelves are well stocked too.
Today there were empty shelves in the dairy and small goods section. Just as well I didn't want cheese etc today but others were annoyed. No sign to say when they would be reinstated or whether the chiller was being repaired.
Its a lovely clean friendly store, had everything I needed
Mate walked in wanted to buy some biscuits didnβt realise they didnβt have aussie biscuits so I said well this sucks got in the ute did a burn out and a made heated session forgot who I was for like half an hour went back in the shop still didnβt have the biscuits so I said right going to this tinder chick house got naughty she said letβs try these other biscuits so I said oh okkk and then we had milk cookies and now 2 weeks later right she say on mmm I donβt know how to tell you this Iβm pregnant Iβm like dam well guess Iβve got to be a reasonable parent and now I have a 2 kids so thanks woolies why didnβt you just have the biscuits mate !! Got the having a whole family and being a good man shame on you not happy
Extraordinarily poor service - three staff running info centre and self-checkouts, 1 poor assistant having to deal with a long queue of very full trolleys - took my wife at least 20 minutes queuing to be served. VERY POOR (OR NONE) MANAGEMENT!
Friendly staff. Staff being singular, basicly no one else working there, carpark flooded with trolleys and 1 checkout
It's not the biggest or best Countdown but it certainly isn't the worst or the smallest. It is roomy down the aisles, and has a decent selection of products. I'm about the same distance from here and New World Waihi, and I much prefer coming to Countdown Katikati.
So busy today with being a long weekend but still fully stocked and fast checkout, just a reminder to girl on checkout that a smile goes a million miles. Best Countdown around
not very friendly they must of smelt us as outta towners or thats how we were treated after asking for the toilet key MMm and spending money as a quick snack spot, next time i will use the little 4 square down the road
They will price things wrongly on a regular basis. We have had meat that is off multiple times. Other supermarkets locally are cheaper and with better choices.
