   Just me I don't like big stores, signage could be along rows as you come to them not as you go down into rows, large areas of no fruit and veggies but this could be because of Xmas rush

   So the drinking age is 18 but you have to LOOK 25 to buy alcohol at woolworth’s if not you have to show your passport if you’re not kiwi. I’m 27 years old and my boyfriend who’s 37 was doing groceries and got 2 beers but because i was with him and apperantly i look under 25 the guy at the self check out asked us both for ID. My boyfriend shows his and the employee asks for mine. I had left my wallet in the car. I leave and he still denies my BF his sale…. I go back in with my foreign DL which he denied and said it had to be a passport. Well, who’s walking around with their passport? Comment below if you’re walking around with your passport. The funny thing is that i look older than the employee who looks 17. I get the whole show if i was the one purchasing the stuff but i wasn’t … anyway, we went to the liquor store next door and got a 6 pack. apparently i look my age there

   I really enjoyed going into this Woolworths, I'm from a small city so it's always interesting to go to the bigger supermarkets. The variety of meat and produce that you have faster passes anything the smaller cities get

   This store was never great when it was a countdown but has got far worse since it's woolworths rebrand. Average to poor quality fresh produce and meat. Vastly understaffed (so much so that on a visit today, there wasn't a single cashier available on the checkouts themselves) with some of the poorest stock control imaginable. A long history of ever-broken conveyor belts means even when a cashier is available, you have to hand-feed items to them. Avoid if at all possible.

   If you put items that are on hold for online orders on the shelf so that anyone else can take them to the counter at least apologise for the confusion don’t rudely yell at the customer over it. Or better yet put your online orders where they cant be accessed by anyone else to avoid this situation happening in the first place. Don’t take out your frustration over your mistake on your innocent customers.

   Let’s change the layout of the entire store. We don’t care that the locals once knew where the items used to be. We’ll change it all around to suit some consultants advice to ‘best suit consumers.’ Isn’t it embarrassing to now see all your local customers wandering around in frustration?

   I went in on sunday and had trouble picking apples from the seemingly endless variety of apples they had on display. (I was overwhelmed to say the least). Fortunately for me the produce assistant stepped away from being busy doing his job to walk me through the apple selection . Terrific service !!!

   Very very good! Lovely Staff. Only thing we weren't happy about was ...You aren't supplied ANY bags for your loose fruit or vegetables. If you want some, then you'd need to pay $1.70 for a re usable pack.
