Pricing has gone up alot. $45 for a lamp that doesn't have a ring to hold lamp shade down. $35 ($70 total) each for small matching lamps 3 wooden legs and lamp shade. Normally costs $10 to $15 second hand. It looks like the shop is going to end up like the onehunga red cross. Big store with no customers due to over pricing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shop is well stocked. Had a good rummage, got a few bargains. Shop music playing in the background. Staff stocking shelves talking to one another. Wonderful experience. Shop has really settled down. Not so chaotic with people shouting and yelling at one another.

Great hospice. Always tidy, great pricing, lots to sort through. The previous manager was so ruddy awful always screaming and yelling, the place became unbearable. A lot more chill now. Great staff as per usual. Not sure if I met the new manager today, whoever she was, she was awesome. Lot more chill now at the hospice.

Unfortunately the change of management has really affected what used to be the best charity shop in Auckland. The layout is now cluttered and unpleasant to browse. It’s evident that the general clothing racks are also being less carefully maintained than previously. Prices have gone up too. Plus, the wonderful energy the old manager and assistant manager added is just gone. I’ll still drop by, but I won’t be recommending people to come out of here way to visit.

arrived at 4:30 pm, I wish I could stay longer but the shop was closing soon. Rapidly selected some beautiful postcards. A young lady at the till was very nice. I will drop by again some day, it is the second affordable Hospice shop I’ve found in Auckland (as far as I know, Hospice op shop is usually expensive)

I really loved coming to this shop, but in only a couple of weeks I have already witnessed the negative effects of the staff restructure that Hospice decided to make. The previous manager Louise may not have been to every customer's liking, but along with her team, she was dedicated, super hard working and not afraid to be assertive when needed. This was reflected in the general tidiness, condition of the goods, the displays and the great community vibe. The shop was managed very well. In a time when retail is really struggling, especially in Auckland, it is incomprehensible to me why Hospice would bust up something that was working so well. And unfortunately, despite the efforts of the new staff, manager and volunteers this shop has lost its mojo.

Best hospice shop with lovely staff I travel quite far to go here as I find the items priced reasonably and lots of cool stuff. Also the lady who I think may run it is an absolute gem full of personality and life. It must be full on having to sift through peoples throw outs but you do a great job managing to source the best items for such a good cause. Keep up the good work guys without people like you charities would not survive!!

Donations are consistently closed on a Saturday. The one day of the week a lot of people can make it there. And when you you can drop stuff off the lady is so rude and unappreciative. Makes it out like you’re dumping rubbish and you wonder why bother trying to do the right thing. Won’t be returning.

Excellent store with friendly staff. Items were well priced and it's good to know your money is going towards a proper charity.
