They have rusty trolleys which make your fruit and vege go yuck if you're not careful. The trolleys also have a single dolley wheel on the back so they only like turning one direction. Don't get me started on price gouging, that's every supermarket though.

I went there on a Sunday, wasn't very busy. Customer service makes you go around in a wild goose chase then to tell you they never had the product, when they could've looked it up in the first place instead of wasting your time. But they were too busy texting and ordering others to get the trolley. The shelves were empty. The self-check out also double scans (?? I used the far end kiosk closest to the door) and charged me twice for my stuff (idk why it didn't get picked up on the weights). It's a disaster

this store has gone down hill super fast.. Sadly always rubbish in trolley bay and just visited and there is food misplaced throughout the store that no one attended too... 3 staff members talking in the self serve area.. when I call one over they don't listen to what I said and start scanning my items.. I said no its scanned an item twice can you listen.. to which she said I think you need another assistant... if you try to go to a checkout they wander over looking annoyed. they now have minimal stock.. very unhelpful staff who seem more interested in social catch ups.. I will only go here now for bare minimums. sad as it use to be a great shop before it changed to woolworths.

This place is great! The young people had a lot of fun. There is also a cafe inside. The owner is friendly and kind, but it's a pity that there is no vegetarian food. It would be more convenient if there were vegetarian food。

I recently visited Woolworths St James in Rototuna, Hamilton, NZ, during the evening, and I was really impressed with the quality of the chilled and meat sections. I had a specific list of items I was looking for, and I ended up spending quite a bit of time in these areas, and I’m glad I did! The chilled section was exceptionally well-organized and stocked with a wide variety of fresh products. From dairy items like milk, cheese, and yogurt to fresh deli products, everything was easy to find, and the shelves were neatly arranged. I was particularly impressed by how well-maintained the section was, with everything from fresh salads to frozen meals displayed with great care. The staff was visible in this area, arranging items and making sure everything was in its proper place, but what stood out most was how friendly and helpful they were. Even though they were busy restocking and organizing, they still took the time to greet me and offered to assist when I had questions. Moving on to the meat section, I was equally impressed. The variety of cuts and types of meat was excellent, from premium steaks to sausages and fresh poultry. The staff in this section were very knowledgeable and approachable, offering me guidance on some of the best options for the meal I was planning. They were genuinely welcoming and made me feel comfortable asking questions, even as they were actively arranging the fresh meat on the shelves. Overall, my visit to Woolworths St James was a pleasant experience. The friendly staff in both the chilled and meat sections made the evening shopping feel personal and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back for both the quality of products and the excellent customer service.

Every time I go into this store the security guard follows us, I go in there almost everyday cause it’s closest to my house. Yesterday I went in there to buy a few things and 3 staff members were watching me like a hawk, to the point I hadn’t even left the kiosk and a staff member came up behind me and checked to see if I payed!! This is discrimination, I work full time and I pay for my items this should be stopped!!! I work in retail so I know exactly what these people are doing!!!!

Only supermarket I can go to safely, face mask acceptable, safe for shopping as well, including the self service check out lane, besides the staff as well. Staff are helpful, and good knowledge as well. Good for electric bike and trailer. Other supermarkets very difficult including the staff, and the customers as well! This supermarket, even customers are nice! Hard to find :-)

Worst store, my kids were seen loolies the lady from checkout department she called my 7 year daughter stealer. My husband talk to her but after that whenever we go for shopping she always follow my kids ,make a faces she trying to bully I approached to talk to her she said you are mother of stealer. I asked if you think they steal I gonna pay double money. Because they are not stealer and don’t use this words for underage child’s and she said today they were again see loolies what the f*ck man. They spend 50$ on chips and chocolate and they gonna steal 1$ lollies. She is very rude. I’ll never go this unwelcoming place.

Parking is great, usually at least 10 parks. It is also very easy to get around when you make use of the signs. The discounts are always great and even the normal prices are good.
