“Located groundside at the Auckland Airport's Domestic Terminal in the food court with sushi, noodles and McDonald's, I received friendly service this morning. The last thing I'd eaten was cheese wrap thing on the plane and that was three hours earlier. With a name like "Best Ugly" how could I not? Prices are clearly marked on the large menu board. I opted for the bagel with "house chocolate hazelnut spread" and it did not take long until my name was called. The bagel is served in a paper tray that is super easy to take with you through security if you like but I had time to sit and enjoy it here. Slightly toasted and completely covered in spread, this was a great late breakfast.”

“This place has really picked up its game since the last owner. A variety of grocery items also installed a vege rack showcasing fresh veges and fruits. A vape shop alongside it and good customer service. A place to buy stuff before you hit the motoway”

“I made an online order and unfortunately a few items were damaged in transit. I called Nisbets to arrange a replacement and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A full replacement was organised and sent (courier pickup and all) within about 30 minutes. Absolutely outstanding service - I will continue to use these guys for any kitchen supplies I need!”

“My go to place for coffee especially before work! Or between breaks. Location is perfect I’m a regular customer at The Coffee Club in Sylvia Park, and I always come back because of the consistently great service — especially from Janette. She’s warm, friendly, and always makes sure my coffee is made just the way I like it. Her professionalism and genuine customer care really stand out. The whole team is lovely, the atmosphere is clean and comfortable, and the service is always prompt. Highly recommend this location if you’re after great coffee and amazing service. “Amazing food - we loved everything we got here. Spent about $50 and it would have fed four people. Loved the biriyani, all the curries were great - I especially liked the lamb, and there was a vegetable korma style curry. Definitely would recommend this place for food.”

“We often visit this shop as we have family on Waiheke. The kids love buying affordable jewellery for their friends and it's a great place to get some clothing suitable for the island. We have always felt welcome there and the staff play a good second role as a tourist information service. The fact that it is quirky and unusual and a far cry from the chain stores in the city is a bonus . It is a small , busy shop and in these Covid times maintaining social distancing must be difficult to manage. It is great that Waiheke has managed to keep the local shops going as it is such a huge part of the village charm.”

“After reading some of the appalling reviews I had to leave something positive. The staff here are always pleasant and the lady behind the counter in particular is always friendly, and has been for the past few years I've been coming here. It has a lot of the things we might need without having to go further to the supermarket, and I've never once witnessed any even remotely negative behaviour by any of the staff. The prices are slightly higher than the supermarket conglomerate but exactly what you'd expect from a local superette. Never once had an issue with anything we've bought or any of the people working here.”
