Absolutely terrible customer service. We purchased a couch well over a year ago from the Botany branch. Within the first week the couch broke. We spoke with the sales team who were initially friendly and said they would order a replacement. They sent us an invoice confirming delivery would be in 14 weeks. Well fast forward 1 year and we are still waiting for the couch to be replaced. Every time we speak with someone they say they will call us back that day and we never hear from anyone. My advice is to spend a little bit more money and shop elsewhere.

Don't buy anything here, it's pretty dodge. I went to the store on the 17th July to purchase dining suite. I have been advised I will need to wait for new stock as they only have floor model, which I was fine with that. I have request it to be click and collect as I live close to the Botany store. I have been advise it will be there by 27th July because it's coming from Napier. When I made the payment, I saw on the invoice there is a charge for delivery fee that I clearly didn't paid for?! I enquire this with the salesperson - Trishank and he said it is computer error and their back office will do something about it. Fast forward to Wednesday 3rd Aug, I still haven't heard from ANYONE from the store, so I started calling and left voice message to get someone to contact me. I haven't heard back to I continue calling Thursday and today and finally someone called Aman pick up. He told me that my dining suite is at Manukau store now and I can go pick it up. I told him that was not the case, I have arrange it to click and collect at Botany store. He did offered to delivery the dining suite free of charge which is fine but doesn't offer me any solution if it doesn't happen or a contact number that someone will pick up the phone or call back after leaving voice message. It will be a miracle if I can received the dining suite by next Friday.

*Wouldnβt recommend shopping here* Spent over $2k on a new bed on the 31st of May, was told it would only take 2 - 3 weeks. It has now been over 5 weeks and still havenβt received our product. I have called over the last couple of weeks to get an update and have been told about 4 times that itβll be delivered within a certain date. I understand there are delays with deliveries occasionally but I would rather they just be honest. Served by Trishank

Appalling customer service from Big Save Botany. Brought a new lounge suite which we were very happy with. An issue occurred with the reclining mechanism within six months of purchase and was still under warranty. Emailed them 2nd March and received no response until 27th March when I had to physically call into the store to follow it up. The service person told me "I was just about to reply to you" when I told them of my issue. They emailed self assessement form 27th March which I returned to them 4th April. Its now 29th May and still no response. Appalling Customer service and not what you would expect from a large company like Big Save.

Bought a base + mattress combo, mattress was ok, base was cheaply made and had a few timber defects I had to fix myself before it could be assembled. Wish I'd gone with the NZ made Sleepyhead option instead. Delivery was an absolute shambles. Bought on a Sunday and needed bed for following Saturday. Was told no problem, deliveries were Wed - Fri. Store phoned on Tuesday to confirm delivery would be on Friday. On Thursday evening I get a text to say delivery will be on Saturday so I call the store to query it. Guy in the store says it's a mistake and delivery is definitely on Friday. Friday lunchtime I get a call to say delivery is actually going to be on SUNDAY. I said that wasn't acceptable and they called back later to say best they could do was Saturday afternoon, so we had to cancel our plans and have someone home to receive it. Delivery men were super grumpy as well. Definitely won't be buying from here again.

Pool customer services and not pay attention to what we needs. I first interested in a bedside table which on promotion with poster in store. I took a photos of poster and shown a staff. I told him that I need this one. He took a quick look and ordered 2 for me (3 drawer chest) . I was told that it cost $159 each. Which is differ from what it said on poster. I asked him why it differences ? He said it was the old promotion on Queen Birthday and it now ended. At that moment, I don't want to argue because I think it only $20 differences, so, I just accepted that. However, I still have doubt with that because I felt unfair to pay higher than what they advertised (which do not comply with Fair Trading Act). Then, I changed my mind to cancel that order. About 5 mins later, I went to counter and asked another staff to cancel order and get refund. I told her the reason why Change my mind. She checked my receipt and found that her colleague ordered the wrong product for me which not the one that I showed photo to him. In my opinion, he should look it carefully what customer really want, not just assume that is the one. Even I gave him to have a look again, he ignored and just say something that not true like " it was old promotion". If the promotion ended you should take off that poster, because I think it is a misleading pricing. After that she ordered me the right one and refurn $20 for me. However, her store manager came and told me that it took more than 5 days to get that refund and took more than 4 weeks to get my bedside table. I was not quite satisfied with the process because I need it quite urgent . Finally, I want to cancel the purchase. The manager just gave us business card and told me to email to the given email in that card. The manager walked away without any email instructions and procedures how to get my refund. He should at least tell us what to include in email, it might spends only 1 to 2 minutes. I asked other staff how can I do my refund, He yold me he just need my name, phone number and bank account and he will do the rest for me. That's it. I been waited for a week, and I still didn't get refund . I called them asked about it. They said it took 5 working days. In short, staff do not pay attention and rude store manager.

Good range of furniture. Quality seems good, only time will tell. Fairly competitive on pricing. Salesman was a bit pushy and found that quite annoying. He was helpful and knowledgeable so I will give him that. Out of 4 other shops I visited big save had the biggest selection for what I was looking for. So 4 stars is a fair rating would have been 5 if the salesman knew when to shut up
