Misleading advertisement and poor transparency regarding Pharmacist-Only medicines. I visited this pharmacy because their website listed Chlorsig (Chloramphenicol) as a Pharmacist-Only Medicine, stating only that a “brief consultation with a pharmacist is required.” However, the advertisement did not state that: the patient must be physically present, or a prescription is required, or third-party purchase is not allowed. Most other pharmacies in New Zealand clearly specify these restrictions on their websites. This one did not — which gave the reasonable impression that I could purchase the product on behalf of a family member. After driving there and spending time and fuel, I was told the medicine cannot be supplied without the patient being present. This requirement should have been clearly disclosed before customers make the trip. Under New Zealand consumer law, businesses must avoid misleading omissions and must provide clear and accurate information so customers can make informed decisions. Failing to disclose essential restrictions on the sale of a regulated medicine falls short of the transparency expected under the Fair Trading Act, which requires traders to avoid conduct that is likely to mislead the average consumer. This experience was disappointing, and I hope the pharmacy updates its online descriptions to reflect the actual purchase requirements, so other customers don’t waste their time.

Outstanding service. Exceptionally professional. This is the 4th or 5th time over the last few years that I'm using the services of this pharmacy. Staff never miss a beat. Polite, efficient and goods are delivered overnight to Wellington just as requested. If that isnt enough, their price for what I order saves me several hundred dollars. Extremely competitive. Cannot commend this pharmacy enough. A+

Service is very friendly. Nice pharmacist. But they do not sell the same items as their online store which is totally separate. The physical store is tiny and messy and has very little stock. Only good for filling prescriptions not buying additional products.

Ordered from here in February. Waited for confirmation on sent goods for ages. Emailed to find out they never had the item in stock. They sent the remaining items and promised a refund that I have been chasing up for 6 months. I used to shop here but I never will again. I highly suggest you shop elsewhere.

Ordered a walker from Dominion Road Pharmacy. It was supposed to be free shipping. They charged for the shipping. Then it was supposed to be delivered within 7-10 days. It took almost a month and only happened at all after we emailed them. When it arrived it was badly packaged, had no assembly instructions, and was damaged. Emailed them about the damage, with photos, and asked for the part to be replaced. They responded very quickly and said they'd follow up. They never followed up. They've been emailed three times and all they do is send a reply saying they'll look into it and get back to us. They have never once followed up. I wouldn't trust them with anything and will never use them again.

I would not advise anyone to deal with this pharmacy. I ordered 6 diabetic reading buttons, one is faulty and the company has not replied two 2 emails or returned my phone call. As it's now a used needle I will not send it in the mail but I would like someone to contact me to arrange a refund. These buttons are 128 dollars each.I am seriously considering contacting Fair Go for a bit of tv publicity to get some action.
