   The food were good but the Asian lady with a short hair was sooooooo rude! Not very helpful and accommodating. I was in a queue, it was my time to order as I was already in front of the counter but she accommodated the man next to me instead. I was going to utter a word but she greeted the guy behind me, and asked for his order instead. She addressed the guy as doctor! I was flabbergasted! I have been buying in that coffee shop and others were nice. Before that incident that lady had been really rude towards me and looking annoyed when she couldn't hear what I was saying. That was not the only time I have encountered her everytime I buy. She looks presentable but you cannot really buy manners I guess.

   There has previously been so many bad reviews about this place and I would have thought the managenent would have taken the feedbacks into consideration and made some improvements. Had similar experience yesterday with one of the staff rudely telling me they were closed when they only had the shutters down on one side, I thought they might still be serving l. Secondly I ordered coffee in the morning and it tasted terrible, not anywhere near upto normal Columbus standard. Was too milky and seemed like milk was overheated too as it had burnt smell. Had to throw it away, what a waste of -$7. I am very disappointed with the service. If the management are reading this review then I am hoping they will certainly look at better staff training or finding better quality people to run the place. Thanks

   My first panini I ordered was over grilled and my 2nd panini so dry! I spoke to the staff and she said "It's the chefs recipe not my recipe and they don't butter it"

   While staying at middlemore hospital I came down to Columbus a few times, food and service was amazing. You can tell that they are well organised and the manager was really helpful in recommending food items that would be easy for me to eat as I hadn’t had anything stay down in a few days.

   I was walking around the hospital while I was there for family & noticed how many people were sitting around this cafe, so I decided to have a look at the cabinet food and get myself a coffee. The service was impeccable, I asked for a recommendation for the cabinet food for what was good and they were helpful and so welcoming. I had a lovely time sipping my coffee and people watching, and the atmosphere behind the counter was so lovely in the cafe. (I wish I had taken a photo of my order but I ate it far too fast!). Thank you for making a not so nice visit warm. I’ll be back if I’m ever there!

   Always a pleasant experience eating here on my lunch break. Staff go the extra mile by having your coffee ready and waiting for you by the time you get to the counter. Reasonably priced for hospital staff/ patients / visitors who may find themselves dining often.
