   Smart Supermarket’s cashier had an extremely poor service attitude. Their language was arrogant and rude, they showed impatience toward customers’ questions, and even displayed clear contempt and perfunctory behavior. This demonstrates a serious lack of basic professional ethics, caused strong discomfort, and severely damaged the supermarket’s image and the overall shopping experience. Acting high and mighty, I will never come back again.

   I'll be fair, yes most of the cashiers are rude and definitely need to be addressed by the owner regarding this unacceptable behaviours. But, some of the stacking staffs I found helpful though most of them don't speak english. They still willing to smile and help whenever they can. And come on, in all honesty there are so many good deals here, even compare to pak n save. We gain some and lose some, yet not an excuse for complains regarding a rude staffs to be ignored by owner.

   The service attitude was so vile that it was worse than an unwashed toilet in a public restroom and attitude of the cashier was highly inappropriate. She neither demonstrated basic care and respect for customers nor made any effort to address the evident flaws in her own policies. Instead, she responded with sharp and unprofessional remarks. Such behavior has seriously undermined the customer experience and tarnished the overall service standards of the community. I sincerely hope that the management will take this issue seriously, strengthen staff training and supervision, and make meaningful improvements to the service system so as to foster a professional, respectful, and customer-oriented shopping environment for the community.

   ⭐ 1-Star Review – Rude and Disrespectful Staff Extremely disappointed with the way we were treated at Smart Supermarket today. My aunt from Hamilton and family from Australia were visiting. While shopping, two of our group paid first and returned later with their receipt and purchased items. When my cousin showed the receipt again, a young female staff member—with heavy makeup and fake eyelashes—rudely raised her voice and demanded to search my elderly aunt’s bag, even though we had clearly explained the situation. My aunt doesn’t speak Chinese, and my cousin tried to explain in English, but the staff showed no patience or respect. Yelling at a customer, especially an elderly one, is completely unacceptable. Instead of calmly checking the CCTV or listening, the staff treated us like criminals. Shockingly, the manager sided with this behavior. New Zealand values respect and human rights. This kind of aggressive attitude from supermarket staff is disgraceful. I expected better and will not recommend this place to anyone again unless a formal apology is made.

   Love it as soon as they open I went straight in there and shop come in and take a look if you haven't and see what you think of it if you love it leave a review on their website like how I am .everything there that I want they have it . Maybe to others they don't but things I look for are there that's why I love it there and plenty of parking aswell so go on have a look

   Been there several times in the past week. On every single occasion, a few aisles were almost totally blocked as staff used the aisles as temporary parking for merchandise awaiting to be loaded onto the shelves. The area set aside for Seafood is choc a bloc with assorted stuff parked there. And the exit is jammed with empty carton boxes to be used for packing by customers. It gives a very untidy and chaotic appearance.

   Don't expect much customer service and its definitely jam-packed to the brim Costco style during weekends but the range is massive and pretty tidy for an Asian supermarket! Come here for all your fresh produce and Asian foods needs and delights.

   The staff in check-out is very rude. After paying, the staff told me to open my bag, then I opened my bag and showed her there is a laptop and some other stuff in my bag. After that, she just said, "Ok, you can go." I was so angry, but I didn't say anything. The service in this supermarket is really awful!!! Who gave them the right to check customers' bags???
