“My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. We went in to celebrate my birthday, and the staff made the night truly special. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and they surprised me with several thoughtful extras throughout our visit, which I really appreciated. The food was exceptional, everything tasted amazing, and our order arrived surprisingly fast. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

“This restaurant serves tasty food that both my husband and I enjoyed. Hunan food is very spicy but they happily toned it back for my husband, who can't handle too much chilli. The menu is very porky but I don't like pork so we tried various other options instead. The smelly tofu entree was suitably pungent and came topped with hot chilli. It was too hot for my husband but just right for me so I hoovered it all up. We also had hot and sour pickled radish, dong 'an chicken and stir fried chicken. All were lovely. The owner was friendly and interested to know what we thought of the food given we were the only non Asian patrons. The only negative - and it's not a big deal - is that the owner was busy in the kitchen when we arrived and it took quite a while before she noticed us standing at the counter. But we didn't mind too much and would happily eat there again.”

“Connie and I came for two nights and accidentally stayed for the vibes. Somehow won a ridiculous amount of Jack Daniel’s merch (pretty sure we’re sponsored now), met absolute legends of locals, and were made to feel welcome from minute one. Food was genuinely great. Drinks flowed. The banter, however… truly terrible. World-class hospitality, bottom-tier jokes, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Left with full stomachs, new friends, and more Jack Daniel’s branding than anyone should admit to. Would 100% return.”

“I like this concept of choosing your own meat, vegetables, sauces, spices, etc, and having it cooked on the big hot plate. It's pretty easy to navigate, even if it is trial and error with the combination you've made up. Separate hot food is available as are salads and other side dishes. Dessert is great, they make really good pancakes, with different sweet sauces to accompany and an assortment of ice creams and toppings. The lady serving was very accommodating and friendly. The buffet dinner was $33.90 per adult. Enjoyed our dinner here in the relaxed atmosphere and would definitely recommend Gengis Khan New Lynn.”

“When I had ordered my pizza from this lovely restaurant, my pizza had came nice and fresh. It was nice and steamy but the best part was eating it. “As a customer who has dined at this Korean-Chinese restaurant more than 20 times, I can confidently say it’s a great choice when you’re unsure what to eat. My top recommendation is the “Number Nine”Spicy Seafood Noodles(Samseon Jjamppong). It’s mildly spicy, nutritious, and packed with a variety of fresh seafood like scallops, oysters, squid, and prawns, along with veggies such as carrots, greens, onions, and zucchini. The seafood soup is delicious with a slight garlic taste. The Stir-fried Glass Noodles and Veggies(Japchae) are another favorite. They’re delicious and the texture of glass noodles is silky, though they can be a bit oily for me. Lastly, the Veggie & seafood salad, green bean starch, mustard sauce on side(Yangjangpi) is colorful and appetizing, with a great combination of fresh vegetables and stir-fried meat, perfectly complemented by a mustard sauce that enhances the overall taste. The only drawback is that it gets very busy on weekends, so you might not find a seat and could end up waiting over 30 minutes for a bowl of noodles during peak times. The restaurant is conveniently located across from a Woolworths and a parking lot, so parking isn’t an issue. For public transport, Bus 25 is a convenient option.”
