A Delightful Find, a quick walk up from the Wharf with a Standout Specialty Manuka Cafe in Devonport is a wonderful and welcome find in an area where great food outlets near the wharf can be scarce. It was a genuine pleasure to see this cafe open, busy, and doing so well. The cafe offers a good selection of freshly made meals and fresh drinks alongside the usual fare, all delivered by a friendly and efficient team in a pleasant, relaxed ambience. The real star of the menu is their house specialty: the Portobello mushrooms with blue cheeseβ€”an absolutely delicious and memorable dish. In fact, all the food was delicious and beautifully presented, highlighting a clear care for quality. This cafe is a gem for both locals and visitors. It perfectly combines great food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere, making it a highly recommended spot for any meal. Thank you for the fantastic experience. We'll definitely be back!

Went to Manuka on recommendation and it lived up to the praise. The menu has a variety of options from meat to poultry and lunch/dinner specials for the day. We went for the carbonara with extra chicken and the salmon which is caught locally. Both dishes tasted great. The staff on the day were all friendly. The restaurant has plenty of seating. We went for around 7pm, it was quiet but is probably busier between Friday-Sunday. They have ice cream and milkshakes available for dessert. I would recommend visiting Manuka if in the Devonport area.

Went order fish of the day When it comes, mum feel the fish bit smelly somehow not fresh smell. And it’s undercooked The Asian middle age waitress came and just say that they using fresh fish but not willing to return it back to kitchen We just had salad and potatoes but leave the fish out. Don’t want to get allergy afterwards due to unfresh food. ================ I threw up on the night TWICE

First time visitor. We ventured over to Devonport for brunch. Made our choice to try Manuka. I had the rost with smoked salmon and small flat white. The rosti with salmon, poached egg was wonderful. Being from Wellington I sort of smiled when I was asked if I wanted my coffee with a double shot, this is a given in Wellington. Coffee was great. Service professional but friendly.

Ordered the Simple Steak for $36. What a disappointment at that price point. I asked for medium rare and it was cooked perfectly but for $36 got a steak with gristle, very plain looking chips, a fried egg and aioli. I should have checked the menu more closely. No sauce, no salad and presented like a $20 pub steak. Maybe the salmon would have better value at $31.50

The best coffee and food, we had big breakfast and French toast, super great, excellent experience again with friendly customer service and beautiful entertainment.

Food is great, just took a while to get the waiter's attention even though it wasn't too busy. Would definitely recommend the Margherita pizza, seafood linguine and seafood chowder! Latte was average but flat white was good! Gelato is an excellent addition to the cafe too, extra options apart from menu items and cabinet food.

Beautiful cafe restaurant on Victoria Rd (cnr Clarence Street) in the heart of Devonport. We went for brunch and it was delicious. Forgot to take pics of the food before starting but it was delicious. It is on the higher price side but the food is good and it's always busy so you can't always get a spot to eat. Handy location and generally parking available nearby on the street. New World carpark just around the corner. I had the pancakes and they were really yummy. Counter selection as well and great coffee. Nice treat for brunch!

This is my third seafood chowder during a week stay in Auckland. And the mussel was so fresh and tender it melted my heart. Garlic butter prawns were very flavoursome as well.
