I ordered the **Hainanese Chicken on Rice** and the **Banana Prawn Laksa**, and both dishes were outstanding. The **Hainanese Chicken on Rice** was a standout – the chicken was incredibly tender and juicy, perfectly paired with fragrant rice cooked in chicken broth. The accompanying sauces (ginger, chili, and soy) added layers of flavor that made every bite a delight. It’s a simple dish, but Langkawi executed it flawlessly. The **Banana Prawn Laksa** was equally impressive. The broth was rich, creamy, and packed with a beautiful balance of spicy, sweet, and tangy flavors. The prawns were fresh and succulent, and the noodles had the perfect texture. Every spoonful was a comforting explosion of taste – it’s easily one of the best laksas I’ve had in Auckland. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was thoughtful, making the meal feel special. The restaurant itself has a cozy, inviting atmosphere, and the staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall great experience. If you’re craving authentic Malaysian cuisine, Langkawi is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more dishes from their menu. “It's my favorite indian food place. The food is always nice, quick service, good deal price and friendly hospitality. BYO wine, but they also have the wine and beer selection menu. We had chicken tikka as a starter. Main dishes were butter fish, mango chicken, lamb rogan josh, and cheese naan. It was so delicious.”

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Check-in was seamless, and the staff efficiently sorted out our wristbands. We appreciated that each type of pass was color-coded, making it easy to differentiate between different activities—such a thoughtful and organized system! The food at the reception was surprisingly good and well-priced. There was a great selection for both adults and kids. We especially loved the kids’ meal options, which came with drinks—perfect for families looking to grab a quick bite before heading off for more adventure. It wasn’t just about convenience; the food was delicious too! From the reception, you can either head down to the lower part of the park, where there’s a fun kids’ playground, or make your way up to the bus stop for the ride up the hill. The Mitsubishi Rosa bus ride was comfortable, offering a scenic route to the upper part of the park. Up there, the real adventure begins—luge rides, the exhilarating zip line, and the thrilling Shooting Star! One thing that stood out to us was the atmosphere. Right outside the reception, there’s a luge car on display along with a price list for each of the activities, which really adds to the excitement and anticipation. Plus, there’s a huge screen showcasing all the activities the park offers. It’s a clever way to get everyone hyped up and makes it easy to plan your day. The park is well-organized, clean, and full of fun activities for everyone. Whether you’re with family or friends, there’s something for every age group. We’ll definitely be returning, and we highly recommend Area 51 at Auckland Adventure Park to anyone looking for a thrilling adventure!”

“Okay so its time to share the best kept secret in West Auckland. The secret is not just that this legendary long standing Indian restaurant does a $30 buffet on Saturday night, the secret is not that staff are super friendly and its a gorgeous environment the real secret is that they change the items in the buffet regularly! Yes no same old thing each time you can go every week and enjoy your tasty favorites plus try something new. Its fresh and delicious. Hubby highly recommends chicken pakora and the dahl. I know my steak man going for vegetarian option that is how good it is. I recommend the chicken malai. Its only Saturday night from 5:30pm, pay when you go in and make sure you book as its popular for a reason! And sshhh - its a secret remember......”

“Ive been here a few times and each brings me back! I love a good Larb Salad, and theirs is very good!!! But the star today was the Chiang Mai noodles. OMG it was amazing. Khao Soi is the actual name for this particular curry, but it comes from northern Thailand, and reminded me of my visit to Chiang Mai, hence the name! I must have this again!!!! “First time visitor. We ventured over to Devonport for brunch. Made our choice to try Manuka. I had the rost with smoked salmon and small flat white. The rosti with salmon, poached egg was wonderful. Being from Wellington I sort of smiled when I was asked if I wanted my coffee with a double shot, this is a given in Wellington. Coffee was great. Service professional but friendly.”
