Ordered veg samosa chaat for starters shared between 2 was delicious. Mains of. Chicken Sagwala and lamb rogan Josh again both first class. Sauces and spices great blend. Roti perfectly presented. Very happy.

The quality and flavours of Chand food is sensational and second to none. Great service as well and a restaurant that is modern, fresh and clean. For this review we got takeaway but the last visit we dined in. It was quiet so it lacked atmosphere… no fault of the restaurant though!
Beautiful family owned restaurant that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. The service is lovely and the food is exceptional. Honestly they must do the best chicken korma in Auckland. Unfortunately, I have moved away from Auckland so only get to experience it once in a blue moon but it's always a highlight of my trip when I return.
My wife and i have been to torbay and Rothesay bay chand for many years and the meals are always amazing we weekly make a point to go for a nice curry… However tonight as we where leaving torbay chand car park for our regular drive back to Schnapper Rock, we attempted to leave the car park and where forced over to the side of the driveway by the owner of the restaurant who obviously was keen to do his delivery. Mate you are welcome… I’m thinking you should try to not be a jerk outside of your restaurant… the food and service is 5 stars but not impressed with the attitude from him so sadly 2 stars
The atmosphere was cold. The young lady serving us didn't know the menu, or much else we asked her. Terrible service. The food was tasteless, bland, and not appealingly presented. Most disappointing.
I come here often as it is my local Indian. But the chicken isn't good. Too dry. When ordering butter chicken I expect it to be tender and tasty, chand isn't like that sadly.
We came in on my mums birthday on the 14/3 at 8.43pm, but the Lady was having a conversation with another person and didn’t bother acknowledge us. When we asked for a table the waiter, looked at the clock and seemed uninterested. The waiter kept getting our order wrong and was rushing to close even though its about an hour till closing time. Very disheartening service. We come here once in a while and wouldn’t return.
The food was amazing. Full of flavour. We ordered a mixed platter for two, butter chicken, and paneer palak which is a creamy spinach dish served with 2 garlic means. Definitely recommend. First time eating here too.
