   Connie and I came for two nights and accidentally stayed for the vibes. Somehow won a ridiculous amount of Jack Daniel’s merch (pretty sure we’re sponsored now), met absolute legends of locals, and were made to feel welcome from minute one. Food was genuinely great. Drinks flowed. The banter, however… truly terrible. World-class hospitality, bottom-tier jokes, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Left with full stomachs, new friends, and more Jack Daniel’s branding than anyone should admit to. Would 100% return.

   3rd time in 3 years visiting NZ from Canada and 1st time in Piha. Our last dinner in NZ before heading home and we decided to try the Piha RSA (same as our own Royal Canadian Legion). We read the reviews, decided we wanted to give it a shot and WOW... Loved it. The young man who greeted us and signed us in was beyond polite. We had a burger and the steak dinner and both were done with homemade perfection. We stood at 7pm for remembrance, enjoyed the obvious joyful environment as locals came together for an evening and couldn't be happier for spending our last in country evening here. When we next get back to Piha, we will definitely be back for supper and drinks.

   Unfortunly we found the staff unfriendly, $40.17 for 2 x tiger and 1 x cider seems expensive. Its cheaper at other bars on the beach in the area. Pool table in good condition, food looked good.

   We decided to pop in as we were camping in a local site and the weather was torrential. We are so glad we did! Great selection of drinks, a well taken care of pool table and views that were out of this world (even with the weather). Staff were very welcoming and the locals were so friendly and chatty. We didn’t eat but wished we did because the smell was amazing. It was proper mellow vibes inside and great music was playing. Also dog friendly, which is a big plus in our books! If we’re ever in Piha again, we’ll definitely be back.

   The food is so good here now. The new chef is pumping out such delicious food. We had a cheese board to share in the sun on the deck, and then had the salmon for dinner. The food came out quickly. The staff were really friendly and inviting. Great atmosphere.

   Great little spot for food near Piha beach. We had the fish&chips and the burger both of which were delicious. Staff were very friendly. Nice outdoor deck to eat with great views.

   The food was not bad and of good quality. The view on the deck was beautiful. However, one staff was inpatient and rude when we tried to make an oder, ignoring us and swearing in front of us. But the other younger staff was lovely and apologized to us.
