   16,30 NZD for this, cant be real. We were only able to eat the rice, duck was unpalatable.

   The portions are quite large. We ordered fried fish with salt and pepper, green beans, black beans with chicken, and roasted duck on rice. The fried fish could be crispier, which would improve it. The rest of the meal was fair, and I loved it.

   We went there for dinner last month on a weekday, tried to order chicken but was surprised to learnt they don't have chicken or porkchop available. The food quality was so so. Lack of communication between kitchen and floor team, that caused some hiccups when they served the food. It was a strange and awkward experience.

   I had the deep fried tofu, wasn't sure what the dish would be like, i.e. saucy or not, but very tasty. A spicy and dry dish, would definitely order again. The lady at the counter was very nice and help explain dishes I hadn't had before.

   Delicious food, but can be busy. Sweet n sour pork was awesome, peking duck and prawn stir fry was spot on. Staff were helpful. Decor requires a refresh as its lacking the authentic Chinese vibe, very tired but the food speaks for itself. Birkenhead parking is a challenge as there's not much parking out front.

   A quick place to have Cantonese cuisine at Birkenhead. Can be better if the food amount is enhanced a bit. Just one thing to bear in mind, if you can't enjoy salty food, think twice before you go.

   I came with my family around 6.30pm for dinner and we were told to wait for 10-15 mins for a table, though there were about 4 table available, the reception should have given us one table instead for us to wait.. food is serve in about 5 mins and they are good, we enjoyed it! We always love Chinese food as we lived in Singapore for 8 years..
