This place is one of best indian restaurants in auckland and i don't live in the area. Food delicious. Cold beers. Good service, comfortable seating and good prices.
They have buffet every Saturday 5:30. Probably one of the best places in the region.
Okay so its time to share the best kept secret in West Auckland. The secret is not just that this legendary long standing Indian restaurant does a $30 buffet on Saturday night, the secret is not that staff are super friendly and its a gorgeous environment the real secret is that they change the items in the buffet regularly! Yes no same old thing each time you can go every week and enjoy your tasty favorites plus try something new. Its fresh and delicious. Hubby highly recommends chicken pakora and the dahl. I know my steak man going for vegetarian option that is how good it is. I recommend the chicken malai. Its only Saturday night from 5:30pm, pay when you go in and make sure you book as its popular for a reason! And sshhh - its a secret remember......
Food and service is amazing. Atmosphere is ever pleasing and the staff always seem to be in a jolly mood with a big smile on their face.
This has been my favourite Indian restaurant for about 25 years and while it has changed ownership and staff a few times during that period, the quality has been maintained. Good food, friendly service and a warm atmosphere add up to a great night out and all at a very reasonable price.
1/ Been a while since weβve been here for dinner, but standards are still high, a very enjoyable inexpensive dinner for 2. 2/ Another enjoyable dinner for 2, as the steady stream of customers proved. A highly recommended West Auckland restaurant.
Bad service claims to be busy when said something. Which was later on. Tables not cleared, weren't asked for drinks (saved there)main did not arrive until 15mins after other 4 were severed. Chef needs lessons who ever was cooking this night. Very hot curry was not hot. Tikka Masala tasted like pepper and salt. Yes I did tell them. Use to be good last couple of times so so. This time definitely not going back. Big disappointment enter at your own risk, may be good maybe not
