   Great food! Not just boring butter chicken, they have several interesting dishes that we've not come across before. All the food was cooked well and tasted great, and wasn't just gloopy brown sauce. The portion sizes were good and the price was reasonable. I think they should screen the door, as it let in a big chill draught whenever someone entered - next time we'd try to sit in a different spot. Overall though, it exceeded expectations, and we'll go back.

   I had a fantastic experience at Red Fort Indian Restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, ensuring everything was perfect throughout my visit. The food was outstanding – full of authentic flavors, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. The curries were rich and aromatic, the naan was soft and fresh, and every dish tasted freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients. Portion sizes were generous, and the menu offered a great variety for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. What stood out most was the balance of excellent service and delicious food at very reasonable prices. Red Fort truly delivers a memorable dining experience, whether for a casual meal or a special occasion. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine Indian cuisine in Auckland. I’ll definitely be coming back!

   I came in today, 2nd August 2025, and honestly, I just had to leave a review because the experience was that good. Right from the moment I walked in, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. You could tell they actually cared about making sure we were comfortable and happy. Service was fast, smooth, and super polite. It’s rare these days to see people go the extra mile, but the team here really did — and it made a big difference. Now about the food — wow. I’m not even exaggerating when I say everything was so fin’ good*. Packed with flavour, cooked perfectly, and served hot and fresh. Every bite just hit the spot. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they do, because the quality was honestly next level. I wasn’t even that hungry when I walked in, and still ended up eating way more than I expected — it was that tasty. I don’t usually write long reviews, but this place deserves it. The service, food, and vibe all came together perfectly. I’ll 100% be coming back and definitely recommending it to friends. Massive thanks to the whole team — you made my day.

   Have been wanting to try this place as it has some different things on the menu! I had Onion Bhaji to start very good then a Lamb Razila very full of flavour and a strong garlic and cheese naan. Service was friendly and quick.

   Curries are okay in taste, but naans are one of the best naan’s i ever had in NZ. The naan’s are actually tasty. If someone want to try high quality and authentic indian naan’s, this place is the best to try.

   Been ordering delivery and eating instore for a long time and haven't really had any issues but, last night, when having a farewell dinner to my mom in law who is flying back to SA, it was disappointing. Was told the wine we wanted wasn't in stocks but , after I got up and went to look, I found a bottle. Then, no rice delivered with food. Got up to query and then told they will bring rice. Mango chicken was very disappointing. Didn't even taste like a curry. I ordered lamb Tikka masala and was given chicken. Just didn't have time to complain and wait for resolution. Restaurant was empty so busy isn't an excuse. Not sure what is going on but hope they sort out before people start taking business elsewhere.

   Great service from the staff and delicious food. Highly recommend the sweet n sour cauliflower, what a treat! Briyani is top notch too. Plenty of vegetarian options here.
