Korean Chinese restaurant seating 25 more or less. Had lunch with my son 3 times already. Usually order jajangmyeon, jjampong and bokkeumbap. They were good and filling. There may be a little waiting time but all good.

The sweet and sour pork taste was to my liking. Not very sweet but could use a tiny bit of salt. The texture was very good, crunchy with light batter. The Jjamppong was not overly spicy, and the texture of the noodles was soft and chewy. Very good service and atmosphere.

As a customer who has dined at this Korean-Chinese restaurant more than 20 times, I can confidently say it’s a great choice when you’re unsure what to eat. My top recommendation is the “Number Nine”Spicy Seafood Noodles(Samseon Jjamppong). It’s mildly spicy, nutritious, and packed with a variety of fresh seafood like scallops, oysters, squid, and prawns, along with veggies such as carrots, greens, onions, and zucchini. The seafood soup is delicious with a slight garlic taste. The Stir-fried Glass Noodles and Veggies(Japchae) are another favorite. They’re delicious and the texture of glass noodles is silky, though they can be a bit oily for me. Lastly, the Veggie & seafood salad, green bean starch, mustard sauce on side(Yangjangpi) is colorful and appetizing, with a great combination of fresh vegetables and stir-fried meat, perfectly complemented by a mustard sauce that enhances the overall taste. The only drawback is that it gets very busy on weekends, so you might not find a seat and could end up waiting over 30 minutes for a bowl of noodles during peak times. The restaurant is conveniently located across from a Woolworths and a parking lot, so parking isn’t an issue. For public transport, Bus 25 is a convenient option.

ZERO STARS if possible. Food was bland and tasted worst than instant ramen and overpriced. Wait times were almost an hour for 2 dishes. Worst is the service, she would only greet koreans and wont even look at non koreans until you have to order. Korean group sat 20 mins after us and ordered about 6 dishes and got their meals in 20 mins after ordering which was before we got our 2 dishes. Worst restaurant in Auckland

My mother and I are regular customers here and look forward to having a good meal at this restaurant. The food is a nice change from the many restaurants that like to douse their food in way too much flavor, leaving you feeling sickly. The food at this restaurant does the opposite - it is flavorsome in a more delicate kind of way where the sauces are smooth and light. Incorporated with the food are a lot of vegetables and it has a sense of authenticity about it, more than just the cookie cutter restaurant menus that are plentiful in Auckland. The service is wonderful and the people are very lovely and welcoming. Cannot wait to eat here again! Yum!

Pretty good Jajangmyeon and tang su yuk. Serving time takes a little too long on weekend. Could use some improvement on that. Reasonably priced.

We’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and this was the 4th attempt. Previous times it was closed. I’m not Korean so can’t judge much about authenticity. I imagine that the dishes were like what a normal Korean family dishes so it is very popular. Tastes ok. 3 stars because the wait time was very long more than 40 mins for 3 dishes, and everyone else waited the same length. At least the wait time was consistent.

We had the seafood jia jangmyeon and also the prawn fried rice. The noodles was not bad, but I really like how they cooked the fried rice. Slightly moist but the flavour is good and mixes well with the black bean sauce on the side. The spicy soup that came with the rice is so very good. One thing I think they are lacking at this place is maybe pork cutlet option, or even 2 people combo meal with some korean fried chicken on the side with ordering 2 noodles. Their menu is simple, but the food taste good like home cooking. Overall not bad.
