My family and I really enjoyed our meal here. The food (which is also halal) tasted great and the portions were big too. Uncle Sugu was very welcoming and even came by our table to have a little chat which felt like a quick Mamak lepak session.
Love the Roti Canai and curry combo here! I’ve been coming to this place since 2017, and I’d definitely recommend getting the Roti Canai combo. Adding to my review as I’m now a regular. The Char Kway Teow and Mamak Mee are my new favourites! The Char Mee was great too. The owner always adjusts the spice level based on your preference, which I really appreciate. Love this place, nothing has changed! If you want to try authentic Malaysian food, make sure to keep this spot on your list.
Food was great and very filling. I found myself full way before I could finish my portion. Just that there was overpowering taste of ginger in the beef rendang!
This resturaunt is located in a little food hall/court. Which has a communal seating area. Just heads up that the parking lot cna get quite chaotic during mealtimes, and you might not get a parking spot easily. But among the other food stalls here, I really needed to have a laksa. It didn't disappoint. Was really hearty and filling and exactly what my tastebuds remember. The roti canai is deceptively larger than expected. Which I struggled to eat after having a bowl of laksa. But the flavours are on point, and I'm very happy.
Beautiful, unfiltered tastes of Malaysia. I highly recommend the stir fried noodles - lots of great wok heat flavor. Ask for medium spicy if you’re a spice lover!
Try their Mamak Mee and Roti pisang the curry is great ❤️can’t wait to try the others next time . They are open later than 8pm.
Ordered the black pepper lamb- and roti canai with curry- re-ordered this unfortunately it was cold by the time we received it via Uber eats, flavour and spice good but portion mainly consisted of liquid with a drumstick
Love their roti canai. Roti was freshly made after customer had made the order. The man making the roti was nice, friendly and helpful. Will comeback again and again.
They serve by far the most authentic Malaysian food. Food is cooked fresh as they are super busy. Soku the owner chef is a magician when it comes to Roti Canai as he cooks it fresh right in front of you. His food is light, non greasy, aromatic, spiced with the perfect herbs and value for money. Obviously without bells and whistles as they are in a busy food court in Manukau.
