I ordered takeaway chicken cashew stir fry. It was tasteless and the meat didn't taste like chicken or have texture like chicken. I wondered if they accidentally made pork or veal. How can you make chicken chewy and fatty??? I don't eat takeaways often, so this was supposed to be a treat. Very disappointing. I didn't finish it.
Food is superb, very tasty and large portion for the cost. The restaurant is not large so tables can be limited, best to book for dinner. Takeaway service also available. The decors are nice, traditional so you get the feel of Thailand. Fried rice and pad thai are the recommended dishes, tye curries are good as well. Alcohol is also served here and BYO is allowed with a cost. Lots of parking and near other shops like the supermarket and Asian stores around the Wairau Park.
Thai restaurant, delicious taste, affordable price, warm atmosphere, friendly service. the restaurant clean good owner lovely friendly.
Not a bad place but nothing special! I love Thai food and been in many Thai restaurants. Thai restaurants in NZ are famous for their exceptional customer service and ambiance but this place has neither of them. The food is good but not good enough to cover lacking of the smiling faces and a good ambiance. The place is selling lots of take a ways and uber eats and it seems it is affecting their service provided to dine in customers. Price is mid range.
Good selection of Thai dishes at reasonable prices. Service was efficient and friendly though couple of starters we ordered seemed a little cold but still tasted ok. Good size portions and left felling content. Parking can be a little challenging during peak periods.
Pleasant enough place. Starters of fish cakes, money bags and chicken satay was just average, money bags were cold and the fish cakes tasted like they were microwaved. Mains was better, pork with vegetables and satay sauce was tasty,side of rice and a cold Chang beer was the finishing touch. No pay wave available, parking can be a challenge during times.
