   This used to be my favorite Ghengis but I believe some months ago it switched owners and sadly I won't be back. The meat is too thin/not fresh (was once topped up but on opening was the old stuff from lunch/day before). The non-grill food wasnt too appealing and is left open not covered. The sauces (sweet and savory) seem watered down with plain oil and sugar syrup with an off texture. Veges were fine (frozen so cant go wrong) and the deep fried banana made me leave happy. I hope this place starts getting better reviews but currently driving the extra distance to henderson is worth it at the moment. Ive also gotten home and feel ill, if I had to pin point it I had a moldy tasting prawn at the start but brushed it off...

   My very first visit out of curiosity turned out, not a bad one actually. We have same style Mongolian BBQ all you can eat in Taiwan with decades of glorious history. So I know what it is already before I go Their buffet selection is not many but it's okay, eventually customers are here to enjoy the live cooking BBQ. Exactly how do we enjoy the BBQ here? Easy. You pick the meat or seafood that you want, go with the veges that you feel good fit for the meat or seafood, then go to the source bar to select the source and spice that you favourite, finally give it to the chef, then just wait for quick 1-2 mins, your Mongolian BBQ is done. The best part is you get to play around the seasonings and the spice every time, so you know what is the best for you. Bonus point, the chef makes really good pancakes, ask for one and add on a few scoops of ice creams with toppings, OMG, heaven! It's very cheap, not even $36 per person ‼️

   I like this concept of choosing your own meat, vegetables, sauces, spices, etc, and having it cooked on the big hot plate. It's pretty easy to navigate, even if it is trial and error with the combination you've made up. Separate hot food is available as are salads and other side dishes. Dessert is great, they make really good pancakes, with different sweet sauces to accompany and an assortment of ice creams and toppings. The lady serving was very accommodating and friendly. The buffet dinner was $33.90 per adult. Enjoyed our dinner here in the relaxed atmosphere and would definitely recommend Gengis Khan New Lynn.

   Really enjoyed Gengis Khan. All you can eat - grab the fresh meats, veges, sauces, spices in a bowl and hand to the cook who will stir fry your selection. Go back as many times as you like. Finish with desert of cooked on demand pancakes and ice cream etc. Suitable for solo to large groups. Licensed and BYO wine only. Make sure you go hungry!

   Customer service was amazing, very friendly. It is helpful and hospitable during our time there. The atmosphere was very crowded, but it was clean and has nice lighting. The food was a bit of a let down. There was ready cooked food from lunch, that they re-fried and re-cooked for dinner service. It was either burnt, dry, chewy, or tough. There were gunky looking stuff sitting at the bottom inside a couple of the cooking oils. I would recommend that if they improve the food side of things.

   Pretty good experience, fun to create your own meals choosing the ingredients you want. All the pre prepared food wasn't very nice, except for the broccoli soup that was good. The rest of the foods were all well stocked and fresh.

   This place is great for a cheap dinner that's all you can eat! $25 for an adult is really good. Make your own meal and other food options you can just grab while you wait till yours is being cooked! Lovely staff! Very friendly place and there is even dessert with pan cakes they make!! Really enjoyed and recommend this restaurant!!!
