“Happy shopping, the number of staff stocking shelves blocking aisles, and on line shopping staff doing the same, is getting out of hand, a lot of shoppers complaining about the same thing. My guess a management problem.”

Convenient hours to support most shoppers. Wide range of produce/products covering some international brands beyond Aotearoa/Australia. Prices vary compared to other stores at other locations, check carefully before placing in your trolley. Both self service check out counters and a few serviced check out lines available. Weekends appear busier than usual - but that doesn't really detract from shopping, with loads of trolleys and baskets available at the entrance. Happy shopping!”

“I’ve taken my kids to Auckland Adventure Park a few times and they absolutely love the luge and the 4D cinema! It’s a fantastic place for children aged 4 through to teens. For younger kids—especially those in preschool and primary school—it’s an amazing venue for birthday parties. Their castle-themed party room is a real highlight, perfect for children who love medieval and knight-themed adventures. For older kids, the zipline and VR games offer plenty of excitement too. Highly recommended for a fun family day out or a memorable birthday celebration!”

“Good experience today. Bought bagels last night and got home to find a small spot of mould even though they were perfectly in date. Took them back today no receipt but could tell them what time I purchased, I assume they checked cctv/logs, but they replaced with no drama and even gave me a second batch free. Well done New World”

“I had a great experience here. The walk from the Intercity Bus stop to the hotel was quick and easy. I noticed upon arrival that there wasn't a ramp to get up, but during my stay upon leaving my room for the night I did notice a ramp. The service was amazing, the vibe of the hotel was really cozy, I ate at the Vie restaurant on the night I arrived, I had a delicious three cheese pizza and a tequila sunrise. I also added the buffet breakfast to my stay, it was very nice, they had a decent array of breakfast foods. The Chia pudding could of used more flavour, as I only got flavour from the fruit. The mushrooms as well could of used a bit more flavour, but other than that every thing else was yummy as!. My room was good, although it had a view of an apartment complex, but that's what you get when you're staying in the middle of the city. The amenities were great, having a coffee bar was good as I always need a coffee. Especially when I come back from a day of walking around the CBD, I can chill and have a coffee. The only confusing thing about the room, is that with the lights, you need to put your hotel keycard in the little slot next to the door, it was confusing for me for about a minute until I figured it out. Another downside I would say is the payment options when you book, so for me I like to pay in advance, they did give that option but you just had to pay the booking fee, and then you pay the rest upon your arrival. I had to email them about this, as when I checked my bank only $100 got taken out, so make sure you have money saved up upon your arrival. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay, thank you to the staff and the cleaning staff for your amazing work, and I hope to come back and stay again another time. - Tiegan C”

“WOW. This is the setting the standards for grocery stores. It's clean, extremely tidy, it's as if care has gone into every item. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the variety is just insane. Hands down one of the best stores I've been to in the world. You can tell people care here.”

“My favorite shop I like it better than Napier Woolworths Supermarket will be back cause you have got a good selection of GF products that Napier Pak n save doesn't have and I will be buying most of my GF stuff from Carlyle Street Woolworths Napier from now on. “This is our go-to fish shop. We travel from Hastings as it is so much better than the rest (we are super picky about fish). They are always so kind and welcoming, and the takeaways always delicious. Usual order is a fish burger, scoop of chips, snapper/gurnard, and maybe some extra seafood bits. The scallops have been very small recently but apart from that everything is top notch. No room to eat in store but is one of the best takeaways around.”

“I really love going to the Hastings Focal cinema and cafe it is a awesome and good place Very Polite and kind service from the staff excellent clean up fantastic yummy and delicious food popcorn etc. and I just finished watching the Special advance screening of Final Destination Bloodlines with other People and the Movie was so good I want to watch it again. HASTINGS FOCAL CINEMA AND CAFE for me is the best one Let everyone know if I was star rate I gave it a 5 if it was more it will be a Big 10 star rate for me keep up the service staff.”

I stumbled across Eurostyle looking for a pocket square and tie for a ball, I was met with multiple options, personal opinions, and visual representations of what the different options would look like with different suits. Although I left without purchasing anything, I will definitely be back for future suits / suit accessories, or at the very least to get amazing advice on how to look my best. Jacob was a great man with a sense of humor who not only has expertise in his field, but genuinely cares about his products as well as his customers.”

“First Time Stay – Excellent Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic stay here! The location is perfect—right in the heart of Hamilton, with cafes, the river, and everything you need just a short walk away. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the essentials. The kitchenette was a nice touch for quick meals, and the bed was incredibly comfy with blackout curtains, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The air conditioning was just right for winter as well. The highlight of my stay, though, was the amazing Housekeeping staff. They were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. Also, the added bonus of free access to Les Mills was fantastic while traveling! The staff at Reception—Tony and Jackie—were especially accommodating. Jackie even checked my arrival time and car park needs ahead of time. Everything just felt easy, comfortable, and stress-free. I’d definitely stay again! Highly recommend.”

“Hi all, we grabbed two Hell pizzas for lunch the other day – takeout, of course. It's definitely not Italian, don't even try comparing it! Honestly, it's way better than Pizza Hut or Domino's. Yeah, it's that American-style pizza. I ate a bit more than I planned (four stars for the American style, though!). Service was quick and easy, no problems. “Seriously one of the best indian restaurants in auckland! the onion bhaji, samosa chaat and lamb nawabi dishes were a particular hit in our family. The naan is to die for, buttery almost like roti, might not be too everyone’s taste but our kids couldn’t get enough of it. Looks a bit dated walking in but don’t be tricked, would highly recommend!”
