This affordable stay in New Zealand was incredibly thoughtful about guests’ needs. The rooms were spacious with clean linen, and they included small but essential touchesβ€”like a cloth drying rack, which is honestly such a necessity for travellers yet so rarely provided. They also had both a cooler and a fan, which is a great idea in a country like New Zealand where the weather can be unpredictable and you never quite know what you’ll need. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. I would highly recommend this stay!

Our room was clean, comfortable and a great price. The staff was very kind and helpful and agreed to safely stash our bags for us while we explored the city before our flight. We were a little over a block away from the Sky Tower and it was an easy walk! Great value.

I had a great experience here. The walk from the Intercity Bus stop to the hotel was quick and easy. I noticed upon arrival that there wasn't a ramp to get up, but during my stay upon leaving my room for the night I did notice a ramp. The service was amazing, the vibe of the hotel was really cozy, I ate at the Vie restaurant on the night I arrived, I had a delicious three cheese pizza and a tequila sunrise. I also added the buffet breakfast to my stay, it was very nice, they had a decent array of breakfast foods. The Chia pudding could of used more flavour, as I only got flavour from the fruit. The mushrooms as well could of used a bit more flavour, but other than that every thing else was yummy as!. My room was good, although it had a view of an apartment complex, but that's what you get when you're staying in the middle of the city. The amenities were great, having a coffee bar was good as I always need a coffee. Especially when I come back from a day of walking around the CBD, I can chill and have a coffee. The only confusing thing about the room, is that with the lights, you need to put your hotel keycard in the little slot next to the door, it was confusing for me for about a minute until I figured it out. Another downside I would say is the payment options when you book, so for me I like to pay in advance, they did give that option but you just had to pay the booking fee, and then you pay the rest upon your arrival. I had to email them about this, as when I checked my bank only $100 got taken out, so make sure you have money saved up upon your arrival. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay, thank you to the staff and the cleaning staff for your amazing work, and I hope to come back and stay again another time. - Tiegan C

Good central location and easy to get around from here, which is the main plus. Rooms were clean but quite small and a bit dated. Service was fine but not very attentive, and the atmosphere felt more functional than welcoming. Parking is expensive and limited. Decent for a short stay if you just need somewhere in the city, but don’t expect much beyond the basics.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this outstanding hotel where every aspect exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the room service provided was impeccable, promptly catering to all my needs. The exceptional staff, who even allowed me to check in early, truly made my experience memorable, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The incredibly reasonable cost was a pleasant surprise given the high quality of service and comfort offered. Situated in a great location, this hotel is a gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone – a perfect blend of affordability, exceptional staff, and prime location that guarantees a fantastic stay.

This hotel is great. It's close to the shopping area. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The bedrooms were upstairs and the living and kitchenette were downstairs. You even have a washing machine that is also a dryer so you can do your laundry and don't have to worry about bringing dirty clothes back home. The hotel has a restaurant and if you are interested, you can pay $25 a day for breakfast or there is a small shop where you can get breakfast if you don't want to eat at the restaurant. Also, it has a parking garage which is a little small but workable. There is also a small gym situated in the parking area. I didn't use it since it was outside in the parking garage and it was cold in the mornings. All in all, it was a wonderful stay at the hotel.

Auckland city hotel was a great hotel that offered just what we needed. It was clean and comfortable in the rooms and at a very central location. Walking distance to Sky Tower and the shops. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Overall a great stay in Auckland

My stay was good for the price, although car parking is expensive. The breakfast is above average. The biggest thing I believe that needs to be done is to have a welcome /information book in the room. It is crazy that an inner city hotel catering to international guests has no such book. How on earth are guests supposed to know the reception number? I had to guess. The TV evidently only works with Chromecast, but the linking system they use is proprietary. No information anywhere. The staff are brilliant. 10/10. The service excellent. It's a pity that the management overlook what should be essential for any accommodation business, let alone a inner city hotel. Please, get a book into every room. Apart from that, I fully recommend the hotel.
