Nice place, but imagine declining serving alcohol despite fully tatted up with your partner because only one of you has ID.
Farrrrrr my g's, came here from aus 4 da mussels and u bloody didn't have any aye ! No worries but aye g, all iz forgiven, had heaps of raro and yummy focaccia churrrr, hahahah youse better b watching border security on telly when they pull me up at Sydney airport 4 having a suitcase full of raro aye hahahahaha Much love pak n save Dunedin
Just got refused entry, finished a long shift, needed to run in to grab a singular pack for pasta for my dinner. Not to mention security guard was incredibly rude and swore at me, and threatened me as I asked why. It was 21:50, 10 minutes which normally at New world they are happy to let you run in even at 21:59. It's a food store so be considerate lol. Don't like going to pack 'n save anyway but this just made the whole experience worse, gonna be a hungry man tonight.
Staff could definitely be more friendly especially the girls on self checkout instead of helping me when I had used the wrong checkout the lady's made it clear I was at the wrong checkout and told me jamming up the checkout is what I had to deal with. Which was very embarrassing, the girls made me feel like I was an inconvenience sighing every time they had to come enter their staff log on details. I would of appreciated being offered to move to the correct check out. The place is big and busy but I'm sure the staff could be a little more friendly and offer a bit more extra help. Unfriendly staff is a huge put off to any business.
One of our more preferred grocery shopping establishment as they provide a huge variety of fruits, vegetables, meat, snacks, drinks as well as live seafood and cooked food. We love and enjoy the process of slowly browsing through the items, slowly comparing prices, and reading its contents. We restock our groceries here so that we have enough food while travelling to Curio Bay and etc in our campervan.
A good store with a huge variety of groceries, household needs and more. Usually crowded during weekends and late weekdays. Rates are usually lower than most other places. A huge parking lot is convenient, though that also gets crowded during weekends.
Nice shop, it's always good when you have the time to browse the options. There was a deal with vegetables and meat that I nearly missed had I not checked properly. Terribly low of bread and this was a Wednesday night Understandably considering shipping problems up north, there is no stock of bananas. It contains what is expected of a paknsave. Clean, polite, decent. I'd rather go to this than the central countdown, that's for a fact
