   I strongly warn anyone thinking about shopping at Number One Shoes Albany - avoid this store at all costs. My order was canceled without any notice, and I was never given a refund. No email, no message, no explanation. When I tried to sort it out, I was completely ignored. This is absolutely unacceptable and shows a shocking lack of professionalism and respect for customers. If a company can’t even communicate properly or process refunds, they don’t deserve anyone’s business. Save yourself the frustration and shop somewhere that actually values its customers. Terrible customer service and horrendous accountability for their actions.

   Went to buy a pair of shoes for my daughter and as I'm about to pay for them the lady at the checkout ( i think the store manager) said the the advertised price which was $40 om clearance was wrong and they were actually $55 . I pointed to her the sticker on the show clearly saying $40 but she just kept repeating herself in a rude way and kind of telling me to pay or leave. Definitely not returning there anytime soon

   I went to Number One Shoes at Albany today. The Muslim girl who helped me on the floor was amazing polite, helpful, and actually cared about customer service. Then I got to the checkout, and everything went downhill. The cashier, Abby who shockingly is the store manager was outright rude from the moment I approached. I was polite, yet she acted like I was inconveniencing her just by existing. When I asked for a bag, she made a massive fuss over it, rolling her eyes and behaving as if it was some huge chore. I would’ve happily paid for the bag if that was the issue, but she didn’t even mention that, she just decided to switch into full attitude mode. If this is how the store manager treats customers, no wonder customer service is dying. Absolutely unprofessional, unwelcoming, and the kind of behaviour that makes you want to walk straight out and never come back.

   Went to buy some shoes for my partner for his birthday and the store manager on at 11am on Sunday 23rd of April did not say a word to me when I was standing at the counter and she was behind the desk and then she refused to give me a gift receipt. I asked before the purchase if a gift receipt was possible and she said yes. Then I saw her put the receipt inside the box with the price on and asked if that was the gift Receipt and she said yes. Then I asked if I could have a gift receipt cause that receipt had the price on and she said no they do not do that and you need an account for the exchange of an item. She was incredibly rude and unhelpful the entire time and I am gutted as I have spent a lot of money here in the past and have never had such a bad experience like this before.

   Ordered online. Shoes come scuffed. They weren't new so had to take them back. Avoid Hannah's/number one shoes. Like anything else in new Zealand they think it's acceptable to trade 2nds as new.
