   I was in there today and had online tickets to a movie the lady was nice at first then when she asked for photo id for an r16 movie i didint have id and asked if i could call my mum to confirm i was 16 and she said no absolutely ridiculous atleast i got a refund but if you are going in there and dont have id they will kick you out

   A bit of a mixed bag. Service is always pretty bad here. Very slow service and the staff are sometimes rude. Popcorn is sometimes cold and under salted. Theatre though are pretty clean and are comfortable and the picture and sound quality is good.

   It's a good little cinema right in North City Mall. Slightly outdated and may need little bit of work. I think I can say that after my recent visit to Event Cinema in Lower Hutt. It was busy place though the day visited.

   Very poor customer service they asked my son has 16 years old he bought a tickets and the movie was 16R. When he go to Register to entry to the movie. They asked for ID and I show the photo need the physical now I said I want the refund and took ages to give the money want to go to another manager it seem discrimination and terrible service. Even they were rude as well. I would be last time to come to this cinema. They don’t treat the people appropriately. They need to ask for ID before selling tickets.

   After buying tickets at the self serve, we proves valid id for a r16 movie, although they wouldn’t let one of us in, after we showed them a valid learners license, school is ands school portal. They refused to let us in. We eventually came to terms with one of our friends not being allowed in, so we went into the movie without. We ended up being 45 mins late due to the issue they caused, so we asked to swap the movie tickets to a later time. They asked for our receipts although we were told by someone else that we could throw them out, so we did… after asking to swap tickets, they refused to swap them even though they saw us buy our tickets, and saw our tickets as we went into the movie. We were then greeted by security where we were threatened to be trespassed and they refused to give us a manager to speak to whether that was in person or on email they refused. We then were forced to look for our receipts to even get a refund. We told them that they were in the bin, they said they didn’t care and that we should just search the bins for them, the bins were disgusting and we refused to put our hands near them. They continued to refuse a refund. But after 2 hours roughly, we finally got it sorted. They were very rude and were asking us very irrelevant questions that we refused to answer. I am appalled by how the staff acted as it almost felt racial motivated, being a group of young white boys, targeted. It was not a friendly environment.
