“Super fun and a cool experience to do in Ohakune”
“We are so lucky to have this movie opportunity in Raglan. And a wonderful choice of eats and drinks to go along with the experience”
“I can recommend Backyard Flicks. They were so helpful in catering for our needs, which was a Youth Group for upto 30 young people. We took the full package out. The screen and the sound were awesome and then we had the comfy bean bags and cushions. We had so many people comment on what a lovely evening it was. You don't need to look any further than Backyard Flicks for your Movie evening.”
“I have just started on the group classes under Kacie Stetson on a weekly basis. After studying under different teachers I have at last found training that involves great tools to use. Kacie is an amazing teacher! she kicks your arse but her tough love is what gets the goods...you can trust Kacie to guide you on your journey of development. She brings her fabulicious energy and passion to her teaching! Highly recommended.”

“We went to the bring your baby “Lighthouse littles” session yesterday. The staff were absolutely lovely. As a new mum it was so nice to have such friendly and accommodating staff. They explained how it would work and offered their help if we needed anything. Will definitely go back :)”
“Friendly staff, easy booking via text and comfortable seating. Small, but really like it, as I struggle with the noise level at bigger cinemas. And sometimes, I want to watch a movie on a big screen :)”

“The vmax cinema is epic! The normal screens are very good as well, all have really comfy seats and the selection of snacks, drinks, popcorn etc is very good. Vmax tickets are a bit pricey but well worth the money for the experience. They are also licensed so you can have a beer or a wine with the movie.”

“First time here. Fabulously classic well-maintained small town theatre. Two lovely women welcomed a small number of patrons seeing Ms Information. No mainstream New Plymouth theatre took the risk. Congratulations Kings for showing this film.”
“Always a great experience. It makes me feel like I’m back in a 90’s movie theatre.”

The experience offers an incredible behind-the-scenes look at how iconic Hollywood films are brought to life, with detailed props, costumes, models, and displays showcasing the craftsmanship and creativity involved. Seeing the level of detail up close gives you a whole new appreciation for what goes into blockbuster filmmaking. It’s an easy and enjoyable stop while exploring Wellington or the Miramar area, and the overall experience feels immersive and well worth the ticket. The store is also a highlight, packed with unique collectibles and memorabilia. If you love Hollywood films or creative storytelling, Wētā Cave is an experience you shouldn’t miss”
