   The doctors seem to prioritize prescribing medication over addressing underlying issues. I lodged a complaint but the response was simply an email reiterating my own statements.

   I’ve been coming to The Palms Medical Centre for over 9 years. I’m not complaining about the doctors—they do their job well. But one of the receptionists, who has been there for a long time, is often rude and unprofessional. She should know how to treat patients with respect and not judge people or their situations in a sarcastic way. That’s the doctor’s role, not the receptionist’s. I’m really disappointed with how I was treated.

   Most of the receptionists are rude, money comes before their patients ! Was in there wiith my son one day and the receptionist turned away a lady with a new born baby who was very sick because they were capacity… when they actually weren’t they had one person in there, they also talked to each other about the lady when she left! I could hear them ranting and raving!!!!

   We’ve been with this practice since 2016, and this has been the worst experience we’ve had. Unfortunately. I visited the GP for a post-op wound check 10 days after surgery. Despite clearly struggling to walk, she reported to ACC that I was fit for work—without even reading my notes. Later that same day, I had an appointment at the orthopedic clinic at PN Hospital, and even they questioned what kind of GP service this was. People Ridiculous, pathetic whatever word is left they are that sort of practice.

   I had a bad experience when I was here, I went there because my period was almost 6 months late, they asked me to take blood, the results came back and my blood was completely normal and they said there was nothing wrong with me? My illness was still there, my period was still late, they just said that I was fine and when i said the problem was my period not my blood, they asked me to pay another $190 TO MEET THE DOCTOR AGAIN, my $190 was wasted, this happened last year but I was too busy to talk about it

   Sadly wouldn't recommend to anyone. We've been here for many years and everytime we have an appointment the Dr's are always late/running behind - today they were over 1 hour behind.. no sorry or anything. It would be nice to let your patients know rather than making us wait. The receptionists are always cold and blunt : I'd love to work there so I can actually treat people as humans!

   This comes after multiple bad experiences with Palms. Some of the receptionists are good but have had more than 1 bad experience at reception for vaccinations. There is a sudden change in behavior while talking to certain people, not sure if skin of color has something to do with it. Also the recent chat with someone called Jo who was very condescending and rude while consulting about our baby. She was not only unhelpful but also racist, again may be something to do with accents as it was over phone. Avoid this place if you can!

   Rang to ask for help with a person who was feeling suicidal and got told by receptionist that they couldn't help us, they didn't even suggest an alternative of where we could go. I rang city doctors and they were more than happy to help. Doctor was amazing. Really disappointed with the rudeness of the receptionist at the Palms, when you're dealing with a person who wants to take their own life you need help not be turned away!

   I don't do Reviews! But I do now, I feel so compelled to write about Dr Kai. What an amazing caring warm hearted man. I've had several surgeries from him & there are more to come. Firstly I'm so surprised! from what I am seeing I think I will have hardly any scaring, He seriously did his best for me, I am so greatful & when I have mentioned a concern with him he immediately said he will have a look..Have you ever being to a Doctor and was made to feel like a hypochondriac, I truly can say you will never feel that with Doctor Kai. He's even given up this lunch break for me, that's how busy he is!. I wish you could be my permanent Doctor..Thank you for my life'.

   Tara is such a wonderful phlebotomist and huge heart. Great service. Sad when hearing people waiting being rude or abusive. These wonderful people work so hard! And lovely man at reception. So very helpful and a great sense of humor! Thanks so much for your hard work!
