    Have been at Ratanui over 15 years. My doctor is a hero - Dr. Joanna Lang. Dr. Sethi is also wonderful, as is Wendy, the receptionist. I havenโ€™t experienced bad service here but only go to those two doctors. There are a lot of new ones, which is good - please be patient with them, some are very new, diabolically busy and stressed out! We should be glad theyโ€™re taking the load off of our old favorites.

    Yesterday my partner took her 103 year old grandfather to the doctors. He has been going there for 30+ years.. He had cancer cut off his ankle a year or more ago and it hasn't healed properly due to age, yesterday he had his normal appointment and was treated like he was worthless by his doctor.. All questions were ignored and he was constantly told "he had other patients waiting" he also had a bad attitude when it was still in his 15 minutes time frame.. They also screwed up his prescription which took ages to fix.. Beyond disgusting and I couldn't even vote zero stars.. Definitely not recommended.. He will be looking elsewhere for a new doctor..

    Extremely UNKIND phone manner from RECEPTION and even NURSE, do you guys get stress from patients ? Please go away to other industry, we need a nice assistant and kind phone manner. Probably AI receptionist will be much better than who sitting at Ratanui Medical Centre at present. Huge upset !!!!! Why Google do not support "0" star for this Clinic !

    Like another reviewer mentioned, I wish I could give zero stars. I rely on chronic migraine medication, and when I ran out, I emailed the clinic that day to request a new prescription. The next day at 12:47 PM, I called to follow up since their policy states prescriptions are ready by 10 AM the following day, but I had received no call, text, or email. They told me it would be ready within 24 hours. I explained that I had no medication left for the night and urgently needed it that day. They assured me a nurse would call me back. At 2 PM, I missed their call by just three minutes because I was teaching a class. I immediately called back, only to be told..again, that a nurse would call me. That call never came, and I was left without my medication for the day. Later, my mother went to the clinic to pick up her own prescription and asked about mine. Shockingly, they claimed they had no record of my request, despite both my email and two phone calls. Then, suddenly, they โ€œfoundโ€ it but admitted the doctor had lost it. My mother stressed the urgency of the situation, as missing another dose could trigger an optical migraine episode. They finally agreed to send an emergency 7-day script to Chemist Warehouse while arranging a full prescription for the next day. They claimed it was marked as โ€œurgentโ€ and there will be no charge, yet when my mother went to the pharmacy, it wasnโ€™t there. The pharmacy told her it would arrive by the end of the day. After work, I went to pick it up myself, only to find, unsurprisingly, that it still hadnโ€™t been sent. I had no choice but to pay $15 for a single dose to avoid another night without medication. Only after yet another call did they finally send the prescriptionโ€”within seconds of my call. After already spending $15, I now have to pay another $22 for my original script. If they sent it in second why did it take since Tuesday (2days) with nagging to get my script. This clinic has appalling customer service and zero communication between staff. Their incompetence forced me to go without critical medication, and I had to chase them at every step to get something that should have been handled properly in the first place sadly not the first time me or my family have had issues but this is the last.

    I have been going to this clinic since a small child well over 40 years. And I have to say I am bitterly disappointed with the lack of appointments available. They donโ€™t offer drop in service anymore or have a few spaces available daily for emergencies. Canโ€™t see my doctor or another suggested option for over 2 weeks. Had a medical emergency called the centre got told โ€œ no drop insโ€ ended up going to white cross, which cost me $130 then got sent urgently to Waitakere hospital. What is the point of being a patient, only there because I trust my doctor. Please start leaving spaces for emergencies!!!

    The worse clinic to be at. Reception is absolutely shocking; when I call, the pick up the call and disconnect the call. I have been calling since they have opened and was disconnected 9 times. Then when they finally decided to answer, the reception lied to me and said they do not do walk-in appointments when they do. I called her out and she said "oh yes we do but we are fully booked sorry" then hung up. It's sad because the doctors and nurses are amazing!! But your front of house staff needs a change. I will be changing GP today.

    Worst ever medical centre I feel in Auckland. Oh they should get negative stars if possible. From last 2 days I have been calling them to book in an appointment and they are literally picking up the call and disconnecting it. Worst ever staff ever scene in a medical clinic.

    The level of service coming out of this surgery is nothing short of a disgrace. They might be short staffed but their customer service is non existent and their receptionist was extremely rude. I have been a satisfied Ratanui customer for many years but I will never be going back. To be accused of not paying a bill when I had and to be invoiced for a prescription that had to be rewritten because the first one received was incomplete shows that not only are they short staffed but their admin is also lacking. No wonder they are losing quality doctors. My advice if you are thinking of using Ratanui Medical Centre is to go somewhere else.

    Zero Star. Super not recommended. I have with them for more than 20 years, but enough is enough. The doctors are not serious nor are prepared to carry out their duty of care - totally no concern about your health - Money come first. Sone of the nurses and one of the receptionists are "super" rude and hung up on you every time when you tried to explain situation. But.. they put bad comment on your record instead - and their management don't bother to find out the truth or try to contact you to listen to your side of story and give you the benefit of doubt - so one sided! - Anyway GOD will know, I hope there is thing call Kama and one day they will be treated the same unfairness in their life. I am always early but in all instances have to wait for a long time before been seen. Zero Star.
