The information provided before the procedure was clear and concise and definitely settled any nerves I had. The procedure was all done in 15 minutes, and the only pain was from the needle putting the anesthesia into the area. Would recommend to anyone else who wants to get the snip done at Snip.
Easy and quick. Dr was really good explaining what he was up to. Bulk anesthetic, didn't feel a thing. Interesting smell when cauterizeing...... John Wayne walk to the car and home to the couch. Easy as.
Procedure was not pain free at all. Doctor didn't wait for the anaesthetic to work. Super painful and uncomfortable. Still have ongoing problems months and months after surgery. Would not recommend. If you are thinking of getting it done make sure the doctor ensures the anaesthetic is working before he starts.
Was definitely not pain-free! Doctors did not check that the local anesthesia was working before cutting (multiple times!). This happened three times during the procedure - which on top of the pain created anxiety for the rest of the procedure. Also no ice packs were provided - despite website and videos saying they would be (which made for an uncomfortable car ride home). There is an attached document in an email which says you have to buy your own ice pack but this conflicts with other material (so poor communication) and considering the cost, comes across as cheap. I would not recommend.
I've tried to think how Snip could improve and I can't come up with anything. The documentation provided, the call from the nurse, and the doctor on the day all made me feel very confident and comfortable. The surgery itself was very quick and the recovery has been mild, back playing football after a week and a half. Have already been reccomending to friends and will keep doing so. Thank you!
I was very anxious to get this done (for obvious reasons) but the entire process pit me at ease starting with the nurse call and then watching the videos of the 2 docs talking about the procedure I was feeling a bit better before I had even got it done. And the actual procedure was so quick, it was a but uncomfortable to get the local anesthetic but other than that didn't feel much and it was done in 6 minutes. The 2 days after the procedure weren't bad I had a small amount of pain and just took the anti-inflammatory I did, unfortunately, fall into the 1% of people and developed a hematoma which was more painful to recover from but now it's completely recovered! All in all a much better experience than I could have anticipated. Thanks
Must admit I was a bit nervous about the whole thing. Some mates saying don't do it and others saying a piece of cake and nothing to worry about. After finally plucking up the courage to go through with it I chose Snip. The video guides were clear and put my mind at ease. But to be honest I still didn't expect things to be so easy, I reckon I was only in their for 7 minutes and to be honest no real pain to speak of. Definitely recommend following the recovery steps as even if you are feeling good, doing too much will set you back a day. But couldn't recommend Snip highly enough if you are planning on getting it done.
Surprisingly simple, quick and efficient. The procedure took less than 10 min. The recovery time was really quick with no issues. The Dr had done this numerous times before and it was quite obvious this wasn't his first rodeo which was very reassuring. Highly recommended.
I recently watched my hubby go through this procedure and couldn't believe how quick it really was. He said it was painless and we were all done within minutes.
