An extremely busy clinic. Can see a doctor always. But may have a long wait because of so many people come there. Many doctors available. Very happy to be a client there.

Worst medical centre i have ever been enrolled in, I mean the actual help I was promised was just non existant, and having a disagreement with the G.P who may I add was not my normal G.P should most definitely due cause to go ahead and stop my medications...with no prior notification, not even a phone call...text??? Or a letter or better yet....letting me know at my last appointment....i think it is absolutely mind boggling how you guys, as a "legitimate" medical practise...have the right to tell me my specialist has got my medical condition and its side affects..."WRONG?"... I HAVE WORKED WITH MY SPECIALIST since 2008 so I think I will go with his words and advice before I trust any other "Doctor" working at your Medical Centre. Sort It Out before you HURT someone...?

A huge thank you to Laura and the team of nurses who helped stitch up my six-year-olds leg yesterday. Great team work, quick response, and super professional and calm when he was scared, and overwhelmed. A really good service to have access to Christchurch.

Being with the clinic for 10 years I think they have improved immensely. Reduced wait time, better manners and wait both on the calls, reception, triage and email response. One often can't really get to see their GP when needed but that is another issue. Overall I think so much good has been done and I am very happy with the work and service provided now. The only downside is - clinic is still not affiliated provider with Southern Cross for instance - most used (in NZ) private medical insurer - which is quite inconvenient. Other clinics have done it ages ago. Riccarton Clinic still has all sorts of excuses for not becoming affiliated provider. That should change.

I have been with Riccarton Clinic for 15 years The staff, doctors & nurses are all wonderful. I was ask early on if I wanted to be an enrolled patient as they get priority over walk ins. Over the years I have seen the clinic absolutely full of walk ins. If people do not enroll they get taken in the order they arrive, as their enrolled patients make bookings to see the doctors, they get priority as they have appointments already booked. I really feel the complaints about the service will be from walk in people expecting the staff to drop everything and look after them first. I have had nothing but excellent service at the clinic, that is why I travel about 35+ minutes to see my doctor. I just happened to see the moaning reviews as I was looking for something else and cannot believe how entitled some people are. They should follow the system, become enrolled patients and build a history. Yes there sometimes is a small 5 to 15 min wait as there can be emergency situations. All you leaving bad reviews are not in the majority of patients who get looked after by the caring fantastic staff. You would moan & complain regardless, hopefully you will go somewhere else and leave us to be looked after by our wonderful staff, doctors & nurses. To all the staff at Riccarton Clinic, there are more of us who love you than those who criticize.

I moved to this practice over a year ago, and I have no regrets. I love that you can just walk in and wait, and no matter how busy the waiting room seems you get a compassionate consult. My previous GP had laughed at things I had been really worried about in the past, which got me into the routine of only making an appointment when things were terrible. I don't feel the need to do that so much now. Great care and service. We'll done!

No problems with our experience here. Took my daughter with a broken leg. There was a bit of a wait but that is absolutely expected anywhere at the moment. Im confident it would have been a lot shorter than what it would have been at A&E. Staff were friendly and attentive and were doing a great job given the pressure they are under at the moment. Was expecting a bill which I would have been happy to pay for the shorter wait. For a child on ACC there were no charge apart from one surcharge for the x-ray. Will come again if I have any other urgent health concerns.

We went to Riccarton Clinic last week with one very sick child with respiratory issues . We hadn’t booked. Whilst the wait was long, as it is everywhere at the moment, the staff were attentive and kind. During our wait a nurse came and checked on my child 3 times to make sure he was okay. When we got to see Doctor Goebel she was very patient, kind and listened to my concerns. I was really impressed with the service that we received even whilst the system and staff are under such duress. Thank you

I visited the clinic around 5.30 on 15 June with concerns about irregular heart rhythm which was ongoing and not settling. Not being an enrolled patient at the clinic I was expecting a wait to be seen and also thought that I may not be seen at all before closing at 8.30 I am happy to say that I was attended to without delay and was away before 8.00 very much more at ease following the required treatment, ECG's etc. Right from reception through to nursing staff (including a first year med student sitting in on the appointment) and the doctor who attended I could not fault the professional and friendly service provided. Thanks so much to all of your team for their great work.

Amazing service for my sick 2 year old from start to finish. 1.5 hours. Was greeted with a smile, then seen by nurse. Was asked to do a RAT test then was seen by the doc. All very friendly and helpful on a Sunday late afternoon. Can't fault them. Definitely a breath of fresh air from the Medical industry.
