We went in for partner whoβd fallen and damaged his tailbone. Everyone was very helpful ,professional and friendly. The doctor was great and radiographer was awesome. But wanted to put a special mention to the receptionist with fab nails and glasses - she assisted in helping us fill in necessary forms and removed that little bit of stress - we really appreciated it. Thank you again

Had to take my 87 year old uncle who was visiting for Christmas to the doctor on Boxing Day. The staff were wonderful. Lovely receptionist who was very helpful, fantastic nurses and and a superb nurse practitioner - all super capable, highly competent and very kind. They were wonderful with him, and we are both very grateful. I had heard mixed reviews about Eastcare, but I could not fault the care my uncle received. It was nothing short of excellent.

This was my first and last time coming here. I was seen by a nurse, who appeared to be Filipino. I came in feeling anxious and worried due to bleeding during my pregnancy. Unfortunately, the nurse was rude, blunt, and even rolled her eyes at me. I understand that working in urgent care can be stressful, but a little empathy can go a long way..especially when caring for someone in such a vulnerable situation. I truly expected more compassion and professionalism from a nurse.

We took our daughter this evening and not only were we seen quickly the staff we all fantastic. Every person we dealt with was helpful and friendly. We were in and out in under an hour even though there were a few people in the waiting room. The improvements inside also look great! Nice and refreshed. Thank you so much!

Very bad experience when I came here a few weeks ago and would not recommend coming here. The nurses all have this look on their face as if they donβt care about you. They donβt even smile. Yes, being a nurse in an urgent care canβt be easy but that doesnβt mean you get to project whatever feelings you have on sick patients.. I wasnβt in there for a very urgent reason, but I desperately needed some medication because my condition was worsening and no GP at my usual clinic could see me for a few days. The doctor was okay - but she only seemed to give the bare minimum. I had bad strep throat, and I also have asthma, so whenever my nose gets blocked it gets very bad. She gave me antibiotics but gave nothing for the pain in my throat or the blocked nose. I had to ask if she could give me any medicine for both of those things, which I donβt think a patient should have to do. If you see a patient in obvious discomfort, you should offer the medications that you can to help alleviate it. Also, with payment at the end, I have a circumstance due to personal issues where social workers legally have to pay my medical bills because Iβm a ward of the state. I already explained this to the first receptionist I had seen and she said it was fine and that sheβd write it down. She had left by the time I had come out, which is fine, but she hadnβt written anything down so I had to explain my situation all over again to a new receptionist in front of everyone. I donβt know if this lady knows this, but itβs actually quite embarrassing telling my situation in front of everyone. Then when I was obviously getting flustered and embarrassed, she seemed to have some sort of attitude. I was tripping over my words because of how embarrassed I was, and she had the audacity to sit there and give me an attitude. Then I stood there for about.. 5-10 minutes while she waited to talk to her other colleague about my situation. I wrote down my social workers information and then I left. Cannot believe this team. Wouldnβt recommend coming here unless you want everyone to give you an attitude all the time.

If you have an injury donβt bother. We arrived at 8pm, they said that they have closed the queue but they will triage us and redirect to a practitioner somewhere else. My daughter smashed her fingers with a door, clearly she needed X-ray. After waiting 2 hours for the triage nurse that didnβt even touch her hand the only we were given was the option to call a doctor and come back the next day. I would expect them to be honest and send me straight to the hospital. We loose 2 hours that could be invested waiting in the hospital instead. 5 minutes in Middlemore and a nurse checked on her, gave her some pain relief and put us on the X-ray queue. Thankful she is under 13 and ACC and I didnβt have to pay anything.

Parents came in because there daughter swallowed a fish bone or a sun flower seed and the nurse was really rude to them and made them feel like they were dramatic about bringing there daughter in she looked about 3 years old they just wanted a peace of mind so they could sleep! They said their daughters breathing and was fine and the doctor wonβt see them and to go home! To drink water and that sheβs fine! How rude i feel sorry for these people! No matter the situation you donβt treat people like that at all! They were a nice family! But the triage nurse was growling them like there was no point bringing there daughter in

Very impressed with our experience at the after hours urgent care last week Wednesday. All staff we came into contact with, from reception, to the nurse, doctor and pharmacist were all very attentive and caring. The wait time was reasonable, considering the time of year and I believe this is credit to their great systems they have in place. I have to say a big thank you to the pharmacist - once we had finished with the doctor the pharmacy had closed. However, we happened to come accross the pharmacist himself on the way out and we sparked up a conversation, upon finding out we had just missed their closing time, without hesitation he offered to head back in and organise the medication we needed for my daughter.. This really topped off our experience and I am so grateful to everyone there. I would definitely recommend and despite the 50 minute drive, we will be coming back in future. Thank you!
