“I arrived last week in an ambulance after a hip replacement elsewhere to be greeted by a bulging ED with resources clearly stretched. Despite that I was seen quite quickly and was admitted for a cardioversion. The procedure was completed quickly and effectively the next morning. Despite being a large and complex facility the staff were terrific; thanks to the cardiologists, theatre staff, nurses on Ward 10 and the many others who assisted. All were super helpful and cheerful which was much appreciated.”

“I can not speak highly enough of the gynecology surgical team and the staff on ward C3. Everyone we encounter after an emergency admission and surgery was kind, caring, professional and attentive. I am blown away by the compassion and beautiful medical practice I witnessed. You are a credit to Tauranga hospital.”

“By far the best Veterinary Hospital I've ever had. The staff are amazing, they are friendly, knowledgeable, even the student that was there at the time with the vet was incredible and so helpful. They were keen to help our dog, to take care of her while she was there and to go above and beyond to make sure she was okay. Our Samoyed loves them and I am so happy to have found this place, they couldn't have chosen better people to be there. I would recommend everyday of the week!”

“My precious, beautiful sweet girl became very ill. The love and care she received from everyone, namely BETH, was just top notch. It was a very scary time, something I don’t wish on anyone and their beloved pet. Richard and his team are just wonderful along with the amazing reception team. Eventually, after what seemed like forever, our sweet princess got better and she’s back to normal, albeit a little extra precious”

“Took a friend here yesterday with Kayla the pup. Prior to going had emailed for information on immunisations. Prompt friendly response from staff. Phoned to book and staff friendly and happy to help. Great staff and very reasonably priced. Visit calm and friendly wait, vet gentle with pup, picked up heart murmur explained it well. Good checkup, information on behaviour management. Suggested puppy schools and trainer. When to worm etc. Loved the backpack/front pack idea for walking around Mitre10 and getting her used to all sorts of people and noises. Great reminders about not putting pup on the ground where unvaccinated dogs Iggy have been, due to high rates of parvovirus in Chch at moment. I’m going back here to get our girl backup to date health wise. Thankyou”

“I used to take my cat to Vetcare on Great North Road. I was pleased to find that when that business closed, all my pet's records had been transferred to Auckland Pet Hospital. Recently, my elderly cat's health failed. The staff were super efficient, highly professional, and kind and caring as my cat had reached the point where his life was ending. “I recently had a knee operation at St George’s Hospital, and I can’t speak highly enough of the care and professionalism I experienced throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, Lynda at reception made me feel welcome and reassured, setting a positive tone for my visit. The nursing team on Ward 3 was nothing short of exceptional. Catherine, Sarah, Melissa, Dawn, and student nurse Jess all went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and well cared for. Their kindness, patience, and dedication made a real difference to my recovery, and I am truly grateful for their support. I know there may be other staff members who also contributed to my care, and I sincerely appreciate all their efforts, even if I haven’t mentioned them by name. The hospital facilities were also impressive. My single room was kept spotlessly clean, which added to my comfort during my stay. The meals were well-prepared and tasty, ensuring I was well-nourished as I recovered. Overall, my experience at St George’s Hospital was outstanding. “I have been so lucky to have the team at Upper Hutt Vets looking after both my dog Shade and myself. Shade has had a number of health issues since I got him and he’s had to have multiple surgeries and trips to Massey. The team at Upper Hutt Vets has always been so caring and so devoted to looking after Shade and doing the absolute best thing for him. Even when he’s been at Massey I have had calls from the vets and from the vet nurses checking in and following up with me to see how things are going. Shade can be a little be anxious when it comes to being handled by anyone that’s not me. The team have worked really hard to get Shade comfortable and have been so accommodating in figuring out the best way to treat Shade without conflict. I feel so lucky and grateful that we found such amazing caring people to help us through incredibly difficult times.”

“Excellent level of care. Staff are very professional and compassionate. Cafe onsite for coffee and light eats for visitors and room service meal options for the patients. Carparking is available on site and is limited (better to get there early). I arrived at 10am one day and needed to park quite far down the street but got a park later in the day very easily. This hospital has a very high standard of Healthcare.”
