   I ordered a gift as a surprise to be delivered to an unwell friend in the hospital. The online ordering system was very clunky and quite cumbersome to use. I didn't receive any confirmation that the gift had been delivered. I sent two emails seeking confirmation and did not receive any reply. I then sent a message via FB messenger and received confirmation of the delivery. Many hours later I received a message to my earlier emails asking me why had I not checked with the patient first before contacting them to see if the gift had been delivered as though that was some sort of imposition for them or too much to expect. I had not wanted to ruin the surprise and my friend was undergoing surgery that day. Very unprofessional florist and I was disappointed with the service that I received.

   I'd phoned to query a few things around their website ordering process, and the very helpful person kindly took my order over the phone and was happy to accommodate a few changes/preferences to the gift basket order. Places that are willing to talk to you on the phone, rather than pushing you back to their website for all information & ordering are getting few & far between so this was a pleasant experience with their customer service.
