   Sitting here listening to jazz / blues ready to check out this morning. I just want to say the care and professionalism I experienced while in for bowel surgery was outstanding, remarkable, over and above all expectations. from check in to check out the staff at St George Hospital are legends! Nurse Sally was my first contact and she set the pace - high standard and level of communication and professionalism left me speechless (and thats hard to do) put me at ease and from there on it just got better with the entire team in care, bedside manner, professionalism and communication - didn't want to go home!! My surgeon Richard Flint and his theatre team were amazing - rock star surgeon Richie....thank you so much to all the staff you are a 10 star top hospital. take care.

   Outstanding care from start to finish. I had my surgery today and honestly had such a positive experience. From my doctor and the anaesthetist to the nurses and admin staff, everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive throughout. The rooms were modern, clean, and very comfortable, which made a big difference in how relaxed I felt. Thank you all for the amazing service and care. I truly felt looked after.

   I recently had a knee operation at St George’s Hospital, and I can’t speak highly enough of the care and professionalism I experienced throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, Lynda at reception made me feel welcome and reassured, setting a positive tone for my visit. The nursing team on Ward 3 was nothing short of exceptional. Catherine, Sarah, Melissa, Dawn, and student nurse Jess all went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and well cared for. Their kindness, patience, and dedication made a real difference to my recovery, and I am truly grateful for their support. I know there may be other staff members who also contributed to my care, and I sincerely appreciate all their efforts, even if I haven’t mentioned them by name. The hospital facilities were also impressive. My single room was kept spotlessly clean, which added to my comfort during my stay. The meals were well-prepared and tasty, ensuring I was well-nourished as I recovered. Overall, my experience at St George’s Hospital was outstanding. The staff’s professionalism and compassion made all the difference, and I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of care. Thank you to everyone who played a part in my recovery!

3. Somewhere Over The Rainbow ★★★☆☆

   Bed and pillows extremely comfortable, especially when compared to public. Room was nice and private. However as far as food goes, this hospital really need fo get with the programme as far as the latest info on nutrition goes. They’re still following a ‘‘Heart Foundation recommended diet’, which means their meals have practislly zero fat, even healthy fats like olive oil or avocado, nuts or seeds would add to the satiety factor. There are also *no* balanced breakfast options that offer any protein or carbs (ie. brand, eggs). It’s pure carbs/cardboard (toast, cornflakes etc) I was sitting there left feeling half starved as a result, and found myself far bettter fed at Chch Public Hidpital Perhaps her a more modern doticiab on board

   I’ve had 3 operations at St George’s this year so feel somewhat confident to be able to provide an educated review. The team here are amazing, the level of care and consideration is exceptional. The nursing staff are a credit to their industry. Whilst I hope I don’t have to come back again, if I do then I know I will be in for a great experience.
