“I cannot thank all the staff at the eye outpatients enough. My surgeons Rebecca Stack and James Corbett who were both amazing when they performed my eye removal surgery at the Christchurch eye surgery clinic in Papanui and all subsequent post op visits, And to the Nurses who went out of their way to provide me the very best of care during my recovery and post op visits. I hope you enjoy the Orchid plant I brought you all as my thank you.”
“Big shout out to the doctors and staff in the ED Hastings, thank you for all you done. You were all amazing in every way possible. To the staff in A1 ward thank you for the care also. Special thanks to the paramedics that cared for me during my journey to Hastings ED”
“Really lovely atomsphere, my mum is really well taken care of, it's not an easy task looking after the elderly, and it's great to see the effort and care that the staff puts in. The hospital changed management 6 months ago, at first I was feeling a little uneasy about this change but the new owners are fantastic and they have fixed and tidied the place up to make it more comfortable to live in!”
“Couldn't breathe, went to Waitakere Hospital Emergency. Explained my situation, immediately sent to the emergency room, blood samples taken, and all wires put my body to monitoring my condition. Yes, New Zealand has a shortage of doctors problem, but all staff from reception to nurses, caregivers and doctors are professional and friendly and tend to help. After 8 hours in the emergency room, doctor diagnosed based on all test results, transferred to ADU, then hospital room. Had right treatment, and could go home after 36 hours in the hospital. Thank you for everyone work in Waitakere Hospital Emergency.”
“Great rest home and hospital for us, and the only Chinese rest home and hospital in Auckland. We are well informed of my dad's progress, staffs there are friendly and helpful, and keep us informed of the patient's situation all the time. My dad never had any complaints about the services he received, so we are happy with them.”
“I noticed so many poor reviews, and they didn’t seem fair so I wanted to add my own. I brought my dog in and ended up having an overnight stay. Was it expensive? Yes. It’s an emergency, after hours clinic- I expect it to be costly. Did I wait a long time? Yes, there were other animals that needed higher priority care. Did they take good care of my boy at the end of the day? Yes. I interacted with MANY staff members and they were all kind, empathetic, and genuinely cared for me and my dog. They broke down the cost of things and added up the prices at every step to let me know where we were at and what my options were. When my dog had to be admitted over night they let me stay with him as long as I needed and gave me tissues and offered me the kitchen to make a hot drink. I got to see how the girls in the back talked to the other animals there and I was comforted knowing I could leave my boy with them because he would receive that same quality of care. They assured me over and over that they would call if anything happened or that I could come back at any point in the middle of the night. And they did. At the end of the day- nobody wants to have to have a pet emergency. Nobody wants to spend $1000 and wait hours in a clinic. But the staff here were so wonderful and I appreciate every single one of them for how they treated me and my boy.”
“I want to write a review especially after being treated terribly at a different medical center. The doctors, nurses and receptionist were all super friendly to me when I visited. I understand it’s been a long day for them, yet they’re still showing a lot of empathy and care which made up for the little accident I got.”
“Really great place. Great produce. Amazing service the guy who served us was so helpful. It was a great experience. Loved it. You should go here if you want good stuff for cooking as it's a but expensive but of course it is worth it.”
“Best thing for those who want to make your kitchen like 5 star hotels there you’ll see Related hospitality everything best in Bay of Plenty”
“Went today Mondsy 23. Fir a MRI. Was extremely nervous as I m extremely claustrophobic. We convinced that even with anxiety pills I would no be able to go through with it. But was talked through it .advised that my fears were not unusual. And my feeling ashamed was ok, but not necessary. Any way thanks to all job done, and whats great is that so much anxiety seems to have gone. This 77 yr old feels like I'm a lot stronger mind wise, can't thank you enough. Richard Dahlberg.”
“We took our flemish giant rabbit into the team in Greerton over the weekend who wasn't well. They were professional, informative and treated him with the utmost care. He is now back to his normal friendly self and we are so grateful. Thank you team!”
“Staff are lovely making the stressful experience feel less scary. Great service There is a wait but that is expected with all hospitals. Staff are amazing at communicating, and say your diagnosis in a way you can understand. Any questions you may have Staff wont hesitate to answer and again will answer in a way that can be understood.”

“My elderly mother has just spend 8 nights in emergency/ assessment/ward 63 and received professional/ caring treatment from nursing staff and doctors. An excellent experience one would rather not have! A good result home bound! The staff at Auckland City Hospital are amazing and desire praise and support and respect !”
“Recently had hubby in here. Cardiology ward very friendly and patient with visitors. Were able to take hubby out on ward-leave. Cafe and kiosk available at certain hours. Parking can be a problem, especially during weekdays. Lyn street parking (back of hosp) a good option. Older people might find walk to entrance a bit cumbersome - wheelchair accessible.”
“We just spent a couple of hours in Lower Hutt A & E. For a place where you are dealing with people in pain, I cannot speak highly enough about the service we received from the nurses and the doctor. Especially Nurse Jaynie. She did her best to distract my mum and keep her mind off the pain and it was very greatly appreciated. Please know that you are all doing an exceptional job. Thank you heaps”
“My wife came in from Palmerston North with kidney issues, and within 20 minutes she was looked at and given a room. All the nurses and doctors have been helpful and supportive. I will happily recommend the Wairapapa Hospital!”
“Came here for a couple weeks for a winter getaway. Was not disappointed! Outstanding service from the gourmet dining in to the karaoke lounge room classes. If you are visiting Dunedin this is the place to stay! Luxurious bedding, breakfast in bed and they even have a a tennis court. There’s no time for boredom at the Wakari resort; if you’re not out shooting hoops or taking a piss there’s a huge selection of essential oils to smell at the reception area. If I haven’t convinced you yet picture yourself in front of a flat screen tv relaxing to informercials, creating masterpieces in the spacious art area or cigarette but collecting in the beautiful gardens with your new friends. This place truly has it all.”
“My husband went to Botany SuperClinic Public Hospital in November 2023. There were at least 40 patients waiting in the clinic. Luckily, as my husband is a chronic asthmatic who suffered from short of breath, he didn’t need to wait for a long time. Staff there are very nice and helpful. If you are not feeling well, let’s go there and get appropriate medical treatment.”
“I entered the ED with a groin bleed out Within minutes of arriving nurses were accessing my condition You need to no your NHI number to make the process faster”
“Hi my name's Jackson Te Pairi, I've been a patient in Medical ward since Saturday Night the 5th of July through to when left These two ward nurses who looked after me on those nights were fantastic, they were so professional, knowledgeable, very efficient and did everything with love and grace. So to Nisha and Leya, thank you so much for your patience, friendliness and the very high level of care you both give is, in my view you went above and beyond. I wanted to take this personal time to say thank you very very much, you are very much appreciated by me and my family. Thank you.”
“Good day. Again I would love to give feedback on my experience at Tauranga Emergency Department on Monday, 3rd March 2025. I hurt my right knee with fall a while ago and doing exercises I must have aggravated the knee. The pain became so unbearable that my husband decided to take me to ED. From the lovely, calm young ladies at the reception, to all those who played their roll checking my knee with an x-ray to the lovely Jackie physiotherapist, to the staff in the corridors - so, so friendly. It's just so amazing. Please can you pass on my feedback to ED for me. I bless them all again with success and happiness. Kind regards Gilda Jenkin”
“I had to get an emergency surgery and it was my first time going through something like that and the staff from start to finish were all AMAZING! They all were absolutely incredible, kind and understanding. From the first nurse I talked to, even the anaesthesiologist were all so lovely and helped me calm down. Thank you so so much team ”
