    Be aware that if you self fund your procedure at this hospital the invoice they insist that you pay before you leave may not be the full and final amount. You should insist on a full and final invoice before you pay the amount they ask you for at reception. In my case a 'forgotten' charge was added to my original invoice 6 weeks after my procedure and reissued with a comment stating that there was a shortfall in payment. I had paid exactly the amount they asked for on discharge which is the Hospital policy. Note the receptionist had checked with the medical staff before I paid what the charges should be.

    Have just had a total knee replacement at franklin hospital and wow what an absolute amazing place from my surgeon Rocco to my 2 x nurses!!! Amazing service and amazing level of care and empathy. Can not fault this place at all. Can not forget the food!!! Take your hat off franklin hospital, then food is of restaurant quality. The team has made an extremely painful surgery that much easier to bare. So so good. Keep up the great work. Would give more stars if was able. Thanks Dean Hellyer

    Absolutely fantastic treatment from start to finish. The staff were lovely - from reception to surgical to the nurses on the ward. This hospital has an amazing team. They did such a thorough job and were so considerate throughout the process. The food was delicious and the facilities are so clean. Best hospital care I’ve ever experienced, wouldn’t want to go anywhere else in future, can’t praise this place enough.

    I had surgery at Franklin Hospital a couple of days ago, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff made me feel welcome and were very comforting and supportive. Every team member helped me feel at ease when i was extremely anxious about having surgery especially with two little children. I was also nervous about how they would handle my situation as we have no extended family in Auckland. This ment my husband needed to bring our two youngest two years and 4 months old to the hospital with him when he came in to visit me. I was wanting to be considerate of other patients and staff so being made to feel like we were no trouble made a world of difference. I’m so very grateful for the care I received and the compassion that was shown to me by everyone. Thank you to the entire team for your support, I am truly greatful and appreciate you all.

    The most amazing care and attention I have ever received!! The entire staff, starting from the kind and friendly receptionist, the nurses who prepared me for surgery, the anaesthetist who was comforting and funny, the surgeon who is extremely talented, and the after care nurses who were so kind and helpful and informative, helped me with my recovery in ways that I am so grateful for!! I will forever be grateful that my surgery was outsourced to Franklin Hospital. I absolutely will always recommend this hospital. Thank you, to every single person who cared for me. I will never forget the quality of care provided. A special mention for two of my nurses, Helen and Jamie. Thank you both so much, the level of care you provided for me made me comfortable and enabled me to focus on healing and mobilising. I appreciate you both!!

    Have just been to this facility for a hip replacement and can only praise the professionalism of all their staff who make you feel relaxed and in safe hands from the time you arrive until the time you leave. Would highly recommend this hospital.

    Can't recommend Franklin Hospital enough. We are so fortunate to have such a lovely new, clean and peaceful Hospital in our community. The icing on the top however is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done in a timely manner. Felt safe and cared for from being admitted to being discharged. A special mention to my fantastic nurse on the ward Saskea Greyling. A Hospital thats built on patient care and experience first.

    I took my daughter to Franklin Hospital for minor surgery today, and the staff were fantastic! Although my daughter suffers from high anxiety around any medical procedures, the understanding and reassurance she received from all the staff we met resulted in a very positive experience for her and myself. The facilities are so lovely, clean, and inviting, it hardly feels like you are in hospital. A big thank you to all the staff for everything! What an awesome asset for the Franklin district!

    My Husband had arthroscopic knee surgery at Franklin Hospital, Pukekohe. We cannot praise this place enough. From the time we arrived and met Helena at reception to the time we checked out, the staff were amazing. Such personal care to their patients was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything about the operation and aftercare was explained with patience. I have never met or been in such a great hospital environment. Well done Franklin Hospital for recognition of patients as individuals not as numbers.
