I am grateful for the team at Auckland Pet Hospital was there for me and my fur baby since he was a kitten until the end. The staff is the kindest, most attentive and incredible group of vet ladies. I’ve recently lost my fur baby, Elijah, and they were extremely supportive throughout the process.
Easy to make online appointment and appointments available Monday morning after a stressed out weekend. Vet-Steve provide excellent service and reassurance to the injury. (On a second visit yes my cat is a menance) Steve again provided great service and even checked his previous injury. Parking on site- which is great for Ponsonby. Overall highly recommend. Very clean.
The surgeon did an excellent job desexing our cat, especially when other vets were saying they couldn't do it because she'd just been on heat. They also correctly diagnosed that our cat had conjunctivitis. We had noticed the issue months prior, but our previous vet said she didn't have conjunctivitis. When we went on holiday, our cat stayed at the Auckland Pet Hospital cattery for 3 weeks and came home with a better personality. Highly recommended!
Amazing team at APH has been taking such great care of our pug, cavoodle and cat for years. We love having the Best for Pet plans. Super grateful with the wonderful services they provide. I used to take my cat to Vetcare on Great North Road. I was pleased to find that when that business closed, all my pet's records had been transferred to Auckland Pet Hospital. Recently, my elderly cat's health failed. The staff were super efficient, highly professional, and kind and caring as my cat had reached the point where his life was ending. I am very grateful for the empathy given to me as I shared the last minutes with my cat, which had been my constant companion for so many years. Lots of thanks to Auckland Pet Hospital.
Always a delightful time with the team, even if not for the animal. They take care of my cats with such warm hearts and the vets and receptionists alike always make you feel seen and welcome. Would highly recommend!

Had really positive experiences here! The vet was really kind and patient with my nervous cat. I really appreciate the kind front office workers as well as the promptness in response to emails and appointment requests. Yoda is a healthier kitten thanks to all their help!
We had a matter that needed speedy care and our current vet was unavailable to take our puppy on until the following week. They suggested we try Auckland Pet Hospital and straight from the word go they were attentive, welcoming and fit us in straight away. On picking up our pup the nurses, vets and receptionists came out to say goodbye to him, he didn’t want to leave! Thank you APH, such a kind clinic it felt like family.
Found them to be pricey, also advised on 4 vaccinations for our kitten that a second opinion advised only 3 were necessary. At $170 a pop plus the hassle wasn't happy to learn this. There was no parking there when we went. Otherwise everything was fine
